A friend of mine had a misty mountain harness and always raved of how great it was. My cheap petzl harness was almost falling apart from the chimneys and crystalline granite I had made it subject to, so I decided to upgrade. The Cadillac is great, definitely comfy enough for all day climbing and makes the hanging belay while my partner flails on that 5.8 offwidth so much more survivable. I also don’t mind the extra weight versus some other harnesses, it still feels sleek and works great for hard cracks in the creek.

One Of The Beat Harnesses Made!
Misty Mountain makes some of the best climbing gear around. I love that it’s made in the U.S. This is my second Misty Mountain Cadillac, and I’m not sure I’ll ever use a harness from another company. Do yourself a favor, get one!
