Took my Wrapts on an 8 day adventure across Vancouver Island, and they were WONDERFUL!! So comfortable and supportive (of course, they're Merrells!!), these added a nice dose of style as well. They went kayaking, hiking, and out to dinner. I am already planning on buying my next pair because, yes, they are even more attractive on sale!

I really wanted to like these! I bought them for a trip to Alaska. I’ve bought and worn at least 4 different pairs of Merrells hiking shoes, but I’ve always ended up giving them away. I have a Morton’s neuroma, and Merrells have all made my feet hurt so bad. I’ve tried upsizing, but they just somehow put pressure on the metatarsal area of both my feet. I thought maybe these would be different, since they’re marketed as barefoot shoes. I put them on and walked around the house and they started hurting right away. They just feel like they put my feet in a really unnatural and uncomfortable position. Oh well, I’m going to try Lem’s next for hiking shoes.

I was recently diagnosed with POTS, small fiber neuropathy, and Post-Sepsis Syndrome. These are the best shoes in existence. I had been looking at the brand for a while, found these in a store, wrong size but otherwise great fit, so I ordered them. I know I will be ordering these again.

Very comfortable with great traction. I bought these shoes to take to the Swiss Alps and they did not disappoint. They were also very appreciated while walking on old uneven streets in many European cities and they kept my feet dry when it was rainy.

These shoes are great! I bought them for their purportedly superior gripping ability and they deliver! I use them for sailing and feel very comfortable moving around the boat in these! They truly grip well! They fit true to size and provide great deck feel while providing support.

After hundreds of miles the tread on my first pair of wrapt sneakers finally wore past point of no return. They are the kind of shoes that after a couple dozen creek crossings and some time drying in the sun, the "low non waterproof" variety shrink ever so slightly to fit like a pair of comfortable slippers. 100-500 miles in these shoes after they've been broken in feels like a dream, but the lack of tread can get sketchy anywhere past that (and I take it way past that). Don't wear them in public until you've softened up the rubbers, they are loud as hell on modern floors. In the wilderness they are the most lightweight, well-made hiker on the market (if you like a hybrid "barefoot" sole and don't like the more conventional trail runners). I have an average width foot, strong arches, and walk forefoot on trail. Again it takes a couple miles to lose the new shoe stiffness and a couple more trips to naturally stretch the toe box to fit your foot, but that is just like any shoe out of the box. I wish they would do away with the lace tabs (like they also have on the trail gloves, which failed me in my pre-wrapt days in the middle of a desert thru-hike), though the low profile it offers is superior to lace holes for a sleeker shoe. Thankfully I did not have any issues with tearing or wear of the laces/tabs this time around, but if they would just go back to vibram soles I think the construction of the shoe would have failed before the sole wore through. You can't please them all, I suppose, and I'm sure their proprietary soles allow for a more "affordable" shoe. Also why do I keep buying light colored sneakers? Included are the new and old shoes side-by-side.

My first pair of Merrell barefoot sneakers was an earlier version of the Wrapt - and I loved them! Due to all the love I gave that first pair, I found myself in need of a new pair. This version of the Wrapt is absolutely heavenly! Slipping into them felt like putting on a well-fitting glove. My feet rest in them beautifully, I feel stable and sure-footed, and they are pretty darned stylish!

The insole gives good arch support and the wide toe box allows my foot to move. The sole provides a lot of traction. They look great, too.

Very functional and super comfortable should have sized down 1/2 size

I purchased these shoes to use for hiking in Ireland. I wanted something water resistant and comfortable as well as supportive for my arch. Turns out these fit the bill but not for me. The toe box is very wide and I have a fairly narrow foot. I like the looks (I ordered the black) but they don’t work for me, so I had to return them.

I just received my Wrapt sneakers in Paloma and immediately bought a pair of slip ons in Black! Of course, I haven't given them a good workout yet...but just from the fit I am sold! There is so much room in the toe area = heaven! Have been a Merrells fan for a long time and these are going to be my new faves! Size 7 has always been perfect for me.

Comfortable straight out of the box. Best barefoot shoe I've tried. My feet are happy! No pinched or squished toes, with or without socks. Fits well on my heels. I did size up from 9 to 9.5, as was recommended.
