Moab 3 Waterproof Shoe

I was disappointed in the Moab 3 Waterproof shoe. I do have the Moab 3 Gore-Tex boot but wanted a lower profile shoe to take on a trip to Scotland. The Moab 3 waterproof shoe was very comfortable, but I was surprised at how heavy they were in comparison to the Gore-Tex boot. However, my largest disappointment was with the waterproof integrity of the shoe. Water got into the shoes on a rainy day hike after about 15 minutes. I was careful not to walk through standing water, but water still got in around the toe area.

Good support and comfortable. So far I’m just wearing around the house as my trip is still 3 months away!

Flea Market Fabulous

I LOVE my Merrells! Our first adventure was a 4 hour stint at the "largest flea market in the tri-state area". They are SUPER COMFY! They provided excellent support for traversing uneven gravel terrain.

Wide Width Works For Me

After a few short walks around the neighborhood these shoes were ready to go. Next was some gravel trails in upstate Washington and finally some dirt trails. They are very comfortable with plenty of room in the toe box which is often an issue for me. I sized up 1 size from dress shoes worn with no socks to accommodate cushioned hiking socks. Excellent light hiker as I hike about 5 miles or less per day. Shoelaces tend to slip and untie so I double knot them.
