Great Style; Not So Comfortable

I received these shoes as a Christmas gift. Am familiar with Merrell shoes as I wear the jungle mocs. Needed a hiking shoe with a thick bottom so I was thrilled to get these. I am sometimes in-between sizes and the half-size up seems to work here. But after I wore these for the first time for an hour hike, the balls of my feet hurt. I felt the inside with my hand and was surprised to find that the ball of the foot was hard, with no cushioning at all. I really like the shoes but will have to get ball-of-foot cushions to keep wearing them.

Not All Sizes Are The Same All The Time , Need To

My Merrells were ordered the same size as the last two times I have ordered from them. After wearing for a week I could no longer wear them, too tight. since I used them a week they will now set in closet.
