What's That Noise?

First let me say that these look great and are super comfortable. In fact, they're almost perfect. But, every step sounds like your feet are stuffed into plastic shopping bags. It's like I'm 10 years old again, heading out to the sledding hill, and I have bread bags over my socks because my work boots aren't waterproof. Crinkle, squish, crinkle squish. Every step.

Great For Travel

Where did I take my new shoes? First trip is to Portugal, including beaches, cobblestone streets, hiking on gravel and stone paths. And yes, a bit of water to test the waterproof claim. Warm and dry - but not too warm. They breathe better than past waterproof shoes (including from Merrell) I have had. Fine for wearing all day in the sun. A good balance of support and cushion, without excess weight. Excellent traction on smooth surfaces.
