Good Shoes But...

Ive never had a smellier pair of waterproof shoes/boots in my life. Just something to keep in mind if you buy these, if youre not standing in water go with the non waterproof. Also, they still get wet on the outside and can get pretty cold if you live in a cold area.

They Work As Advertised.

I needed a better pair of hiking boots for moderate to rough terrain where there is a lot of gradient chang and high risk of slipping on loose forest vegetation as well as rocks and tree roots. I went with this version of the Moab because I wanted ankle support. After several hikes and walks I am very happy with my purchase. The grip coming down slopes is excellent. Its a great fit by going up 1/2 a size which I usually do with boots and in particular around the toe box. I have not encountered really heavy rain yet so cant comment on the waterproof feature but overall I recommend this product.
