Comfy But Flawed
Very comfortable shoes with a lot of cushion in the heel. However the shoestring eyelets started ripping through the material within days of starting to wear these shoes. The holes for the strings are not re-enforced in any way and the shoestrings flat design literally starts sawing through the material. This has to be a design flaw and there’s no way this hasn’t happened to other users shoes… however Merrell made it right and I got a different pair of another model that lasted years of abuse and never had a problem.

Best Shoe On The Market For Trail Running
This is the third time that I buy this pair of shoes. It fits true to size and is excellent for trail running...best on the market. I have ran ultra-marathons on sharp rocks in these and it felt like walking on clouds. I recommend them to all my friends. When I go through them and they start getting old I just keep walking in them and use them for scrambling and hiking. I ran San Gorgonio, Mt. Baldy, Cactus to the Clouds and The So-Cal Triple Crown in these and I did Mt. Whitney twice in these. From daily trainers on the trail to race day shoes...they do not disappoint. Great job Merrell!
