Great Packable Travel Backpack

I bought this water resistant (almost waterproof) travel backpack that packs down small enough to fit easily into personal item bag that I use in conjunction with my carry-on bag. With over 20 liters of space I can comfortably fit a rain jacket and fleece jacket for side trip associated with a riverboat trip to Amsterdam in April (when I’m sure I’ll appreciate the waterproof design). I added a small caribiner to make sure my water bottle doesn’t slide out of the water bottle pocket when putting on or taking off the pack.

Ultralight And Compact

Bought it as a back up to be kept in my main backpack. It’s very light and folds well into it’s mesh pouch. Very roomy and it’s definitely waterproof. Shoulder straps are very comfortable.

Outstanding Daily Runabout Bag

I bought this bag for use in day hikes and urban exploration while traveling, and it excels at both. Very comfortable even when fully loaded (though a 22L load isn’t very heavy). Although the straps are thin they are wide and allow tons of air through them, so really no sweating and plenty of comfort. It was the ideal daypack on a recent trip ti Spain—waterproofing was great at the beach, light weight and the airy straps were great on some mountainous hikes, and the unobtrusive styling was fine in the city. And it neatly packs up to the size of a softball in my luggage. One of the best travel purchases I’ve made.
