As a slim petit who is often freezing living in NY, I spent so much time trying to find an long down coat that fit me - hence not too roomy so the wind don’t get in, the position of the waist line not too low so I don’t look awkward or even shorter. And most importantly: Warm - a coat I can rely on. And when I came upon this 800 fill prospect coat, that was it! It is so well-made, beautiful and super warm. The hood is just the right size. On the coldest days I can literally be in this coat and feel super comfortable and toasty!!

I did size up from medium to large. Good fit and warm when I tried it on.

I am 4’11, 110lb, 32D. Have big arm and rear. Bought XS and length is exactly halfway to ankle from my knee. Arm is a bit tight, so if you like to wear thick sweaters, sizing up might be better. But honestly it’s really warm so I am not sure if you need one! Excited for Chicago winter!

I read the reviews for this coat and liked the waterproof/down aspects but honestly thought it was pretty ugly based on these model photos on this website and others. I am so happy I took a chance on it because it is WAY cuter in person - the hood straps don’t pop straight out like they do on the model (lays more flat). It’s incredibly comfortable and kept me sooo warm in 9 degrees F with a -10 degree F windchill last night in Colorado. This coat is too long for most active/outdoor activities but absolutely serves its purpose as a super warm commuter coat. If you have a dog and have no option but doing long morning walks in the winter I HIGHLY recommend this coat. For size reference, I am 5’2 and around 105 lbs (32-26-35 measurements) and the XS fits well with a thick sweater underneath. Not sure I’d have enough room for a true mid-layer jacket under it but I won’t need it with the warmth of this coat.
