Bought these for my dad for Christmas. He is happy with them but the reviews certainly are true that the “long” is very long. He’s 6’2” with long legs. He liked they were a bit longer, but I could see him fitting the regular length.

bought these for a 10 day sailing trip. we had all day rain one day and the pants kept me dry. I was questioning whether the full zip would allow water pentation, but it did not in my case of mostly standing. The full zip was great for getting them on and off easily without removing footwear.
