After using these slings, you just won't go back. the bar tacks on other slings create a catching point which can be super frustrating when extending or unextending alpine draws. The way mamut makes it a smooth transition from bartack to sling is (chefs kiss). When it comes to choosing gear, I feel like the biggest difference maker is having things that don't "act up" sometimes. The bartack not catching on things is definitely a great example of this.

Have not used this specific sling yet, but have used and am familair with other Mammut slings and they're great. They do exactly what you need them to.

This sling is super lightweight, durable, and super easy to handle. It folds into an alpine draw with ease, and the bar tack is very manageable. They've held up great on multi-pitches in the Gunks and in Yosemite. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend this for anyone building out their trad/alpine rack. I paired mine with the Camp Dyon wiregates and really love the feel.

Best all-around sling, and at a super competitive price. The stitching/bartack/connection point is tapered, and the ends are covered with nylon, so it doesn't catch on carabiners as easily as other brands. I've tried a few other brands, and am now a convert to Mammut slings. My only complaint is that their 120 and 240 sling colors are a bit too similar, if I recall correctly. Shouldn't ever really prove to be an issue though.

These are my favorite slings to use for any trad or sport climbing application, I have the 60cm, 120cm, and now the 180cm lengths and they are my anchor building workhorses. The stitching isn't too cumbersome either and can be kept out of the way of knots
