This avalanche probe has been a solid addition to my backcountry setup. It’s lightweight, durable, and the deployment is smooth and fast—exactly what you want in a critical piece of safety gear. The high-visibility markings are easy to read in low light or flat conditions, which adds a lot of confidence when working in variable terrain. It packs down nicely and fits easily in my pack without taking up much space. Fortunately, I haven’t had to use it in a real avalanche scenario, but for snowpack analysis and depth checks, it’s performed reliably every time. Highly recommended for anyone heading into avalanche terrain—dependable, efficient, and built to last.

Assembles Quick.
This is on the shorter end of Probes. works great for quickly assembling and poking around looking layer changes. I prefer a short pole for this.

Lightweight And Reliable
Lightweight and fits well into my back country pack. It is also assembles quickly and with ease. Luckily, I have only ever had to use this in practice scenarios.
