This rope handles very well, is supple and easy to feed through a belay device. I've used it for a couple of seasons and it is holding up well.

Great quality, pretty colors. Pretty quick on rappell!

Wanted an 80 for a specific objective, so got this one on sale. I've sadly made fewer attempts on that objective than I'd like, but this rope has come on a few sport climbing trips with me. Seems good so far. A little stiff out of the box, but I'm sure it will get more supple with use, and hopefully that means it will last a good while? I only use for single pitch sport climbing and toproping. Prefer a bi-color (and shorter/lighter) rope for multipitch.

This is not a special rope in any sense and that makes it perfect. This thing is also a bit of a tank on all my sport missions. I have put it on about 100-150 days of use, with a mix of light duty multi pitch and fairly heavy projecting both indoor and outdoor. Lots of roping up, hanging, and whipping. I weigh around 140-145bs and have taken whips some 30ft whips on it. It has also been washed maybe four or five times. With all the moderate use its been put though I am happy to report that there are no soft spots what so ever. After the first few uses it softens up quite nicely especially if you are responsible and let the rope relax after taking a whip, unlike me. The only signs of wear are extreme amount of twists and the fact that its not very smooth anymore. So despite being more difficult to use now, it is still fully functioning. Overall solid rope from Mammut. Note: I use doctor Bonners baby/unscented to wash my rope. My first wash was with woolite however I believe the BD found it to be slightly acidic so I changed to the DBs. I don't think it affected the ropes health just something to note.

I really like Mammut ropes. Smooth through the belay device. Hold up well. Soft catch. I haven't used a ton of ropes but Mammut ropes are my personal favorite for the price. I have a buddy that climbs a lot both sport and trad and all over the west. He has climbed on nearly every brand and Mammut ropes are his favorite.

This is the perfect all around crag rope. It's thick enough to feel safe on but light enough to carry around all day and on multi pitch adventures.

I saw this was part of a flash deal and it was to good to pass up. I really like all of the Mammut ropes I have purchased, this is a great rope for in the gym. I have used it a handful of times and am very happy with it

It’s durable, lightweight, and easy to feed into my belay device. I got in both colors and the orange is super bright and blue is a little more understated.

Great rope! Unbeatable for the price. I have the duodess 70m and it's a pretty rope, decently light, and is good for any climbing I need (outdoor and indoor). No complaints.

This is my go to rope for sport climbing - it's light and durable!

So far I love this 9.5 Mammut rope. Mammut ropes seem to tend toward the supple side out of the bag (like Petzl) and less stiff than others. I wanted a 9.5-ish rope for day-to-day cragging and save my skinny ropes for special redpoints, long sport routes, or alpine missions. I rarely find myself sport cragging in bad weather so I was OK with the non-dry rope for this purpose (I have other dry ropes for ice or alpine climbing). So far it feeds like a dream and feels good in the hand when clipping, no complaints whatsoever on the climbing side. A belayer here or there feels it glides fast through a gri gri, but I think that's nice and just something to get used to.

I've used this rope a bunch now as well as ropes of friends. This one glides so smoothly through the belay device but run through too quickly. I love the bi-weave design as it makes it easy to rappel from safely. It's also just a pretty rope!

The Crag Classic offers excellent handling, making it suitable for various climbing scenarios, from single-pitch sport routes to multi-pitch trad climbs. Its supple nature ensures smooth feeding through belay devices, enhancing the overall climbing experience. With a sheath proportion of 42% , this rope demonstrates impressive durability. It withstands abrasion effectively, making it ideal for rugged terrains and extended use.

It's a solid rope at a good price. Not the most durable, but it feels good and feeds well. It is a great all around rope. Not much more to say.

This is a great rope for the price and size. It is a good all around rope for the crag. It is not a dry rope, so it’s important to only use in ideal conditions, but for someone like me where I will only be climbing outdoors if its nice out, it works great!
