Luhr-Jensen Hot Shot Side Planer

The Luhr-Jensen® Hot Shot® Side Planer enables trolling anglers to present baits far to the side of the boat, as well as “back-troll” when returning to the shore. This surface planer combines a buoyant body, adjustable trip mechanism, and a movable rudder. The Hot Shot does not require an extra rod or boat mount. Rigging on the same rod as the lure being fished, it combines with the venerable Hot Shot to form a productive system.
