I’ve logged some miles in these boots, and I can honestly say that they’re a cut above anything I’ve experienced before. I bought them for a western hunt looking for some more ankle support, as I was nursing a recent sprain. I didn’t have time to break them in before I had to set off, but they were totally comfortable out of the box. I’ve climbed rocky, unsteady off-trail hills and southwestern mountains in order to gain vantage points and have been extremely impressed. They’re big, aggressive mountaineering boots that provide fantastic ankle support, and that’s exactly what I needed. I ordered my regular sneaker/shoe size and they fit perfectly with Smartwool hunting socks.

I've been using this boot for 4 months through 2' to deeper than my probe can measure snow, with and without crampons and I couldn't ask for a better boot. Backpacking trips through 16 miles of fresh snow or a quick scouting trip on cold days, these boots just perform. They are very supportive but still have enough give and flex to be able to bend your ankle to get up steep inclines comfortably. Couldn't recommend more

These boots are well built and pretty stable, but requires more time to break in because of the stiff leather. They fit true to size in length but a little wide, so go 1/2 size up if you plan to wear thicker socks.

Since I bought them they have been great for the work I do. Great for all elements and fit perfectly. Recommend a half size smaller than real size

I bought these boots to replace my 6 year old pair of Tibet GTX standard height as I couldn't find my size in the standard boot. The HI provides great support above the ankle, but it's really hard to snug them up around your foot. It's still a great boot, but the HI is overkill for my hunting and hiking needs.

I've hunted Alaska, British Columbia, and 12 western states. I have poor feet. This boot works for me. I go half size big and wear my favorite insole. I feel like I'm walking on air.

I really enjoy these boots. This is my third pair between the regular height and the tall. Does great for hunting. I see no reason to go away from them since they work for my foot

I have had a few different mountaineering boots now. These have held up the best over time. Very stiff soul if your in to that and tons of ankle support. The brake in might be a little tough but it’s worth it. (Liner socks help) The wife has the low top version. Little over 100 miles most off trail and they are still water proof and the only wear being a few small chips in the rubber rand on the tow.

Pros - Side sloping, stability, comfort, fit, lacing system, height. Cons - Price, sole (traction). Overall, not as impressed with this boot as I hoped, which is a little hard to explain. It's really, really good, and one of only a few "high" hiking boots available, but overall traction was a major disappointment and I'm just not convinced it's any better (or worse) than the competition. Fit is spot on, the quality seems good, and the lacing system is awesome. Wide options and standard insulation (100-200 gram) should be available at this price point. I like it, I just don't love it.

These are a match for clevedale models, but in taller fit. I’ve worn crispi, Mendel, hanwag, and a couple other high end boots. These work the best for me. Sheep, goat and elk hunting...
