Love Public Lands

So aside from staff being super friendly and outgoing this rod is amazing. It's the Winn Grip for the win!! The fighting butt is long enought to assist with long casts and fighting fish but still manageable in a kayak.

Could Be Better

Purchased this combo today after contemplating the purchase for some time. At home I decided to compare it to my current reel/rod (not sure how this site feels about mentioning other brand names). I like the reel, the button is easy to press, I love that everything makes a clicking sound to indicate how far I have set things. The reel is cheaper compared to what I currently have. I purchased this because I am a woman with small hands and wanted the extra small profile of the reel, but there was very little difference in the size between the two. The rod was also heavier and this is where I found the problem, it was uncomfortable to play around with after a short time of pretending to cast it. I don't really understand why there is not a split grip option for this combo, especially when the spinning combo has one. If that were the case, I would be sold on this, but I'm truly considering returning this instead of putting line on it. My other baitcaster is of much better quality overall and $50 cheaper.

Great Action, Nice Reel

Rod is great. Reel a little tricky to get adjusted for heavier lures, but once it is it's fantastic.
