I bought this after buying another La Sportiva shoe that was a bit too downturned for me and uncomfortable to wear as a beginner climber. I was looking for something that had more grip on the wall than a rental shoe at the climbing gym, but was also comfortable to wear throughout the entire session. This shoe has a roomy toe-box and great for heel hooking as well.

Fit Perfectly!
Been looking for a nice beginner climbing shoe to call my own and got these based on a recommendation from a friend. The soles are definitely on the thicker side (which are different from the ones I was borrowing at the gym), which took some getting used to. But I’m definitely looking for durability while I’m still learning so I really like that.

So Comfortable!
This is such a great entry level shoe, because it's comfortable, yet allows for for technical footwork. The fit is precise, so I could heel hook without the heel slipping. The stiff midsole helps you learn to trust your feet on edges, and strengthen your arches as you learn to rely on your feet instead of your upper body. I also think the Tarantulace looks cool, unlike many entry level shoes. Highly recommend these shoes for new climbers looking to step up their game!

Great For Beginner Climbers
I bought these recently as they were cheap and I'm new to climbing. The hard rand holds up to bad technique and the laces make it easy to "customize" the fit. Decently comfortable for climbing shoes. I'm excited to get to use these
