I upgraded from the La Sportiva Tarantulace to these and they hold all the aspects I loved about the Tarantulace with the addition of a more technical toe, stickier and softer rubber, and overall better foot fit. I have found this shoe to be technical enough for more vertical climbs and delicate slab alike as well as a great all day multipitch shoe. I would definitely recommend; probably suited best for a slightly more narrow foot than for wide feet, and does stretch (no more than a half size) but laces provide a changeable and customized fit.

My go-to tried and true shoe. I have been climbing for 6 years indoors and outdoors and this shoe continues to be the one I grab. As long as I don't need to do some crazy friction toe hook, I can do anything in this shoe! Long multipitches or bouldering, they do the job beautifully and remain comfortable. My street shoe size is 37 and I wear a 36.5 in these.

I'm coming back to review these shoes that I originally purchased on Moosejaw in September of 2021 to say I'm still wearing these shoes and have seen no holes or signs I will need to replace them any time soon. I climb around a v4 2-3 times a week indoors and outside a couple times a year max (all bouldering). I have narrow feet and I can feel my heel shifting a bit in the shoe but for my level it's not so significant that it's an issue. I paid $82 for this pair and can happily say it was worth every cent.

I've been bouldering for about 3 months and bought these about a month ago. As a beginner, I really like them, though I do think for my next pair I'll go with shoes with straps instead of laces.

I had been searching for quite a long time for another pair of climbing shoes, trying on pair after pair. Then I pulled these guys onto my feet and went "woah" They are comfy, supportive, and are not completely flat on the bottoms. I have a very wide foot and these do not pinch in the least! I would HIGHLY recommend them to a fellow climber!

I have a longer second toe so it was challenging for me to find a climbing shoe that fit without crushing my toes. This pair has a less rounded shape than all the others I tried on. Hopefully it works for me.

La sportiva is the right shoe for me, I previously owned Muira's and was very happy with them. Then tried these, due to cost. They are less aggressive but good enough for me as I do not boulder a lot and don't do too many overhung routes. I can really trust my feet with this shoe, and it is comfortable as climbing shoes go.

I bought these as my first climbing shoes. I have long, narrow feet and just couldn't find any I could adjust tight enough around the heels. These fit so perfectly!!

I bought this shoe for my sister as her first climbing shoe. She has been climbing indoors nearly every day since, and says that she absolutely loves them!

Got these to replace my super smelly Scarpa Helix. Perform great in the gym, especially on small foot holds. Had to size down a bit because I’ve got very narrow feet and they were loose in the heels—so toes are a bit cramped. Hoping they break in more but still pretty comfy!

These shoes are great! The shoes are awesome, super grippy. However one thing I wish they had was a nice fabric around the top rim of the heel section. As seen on the tarantulaces, but after 6 weeks of wear the hard leather on that section has worn in. I did size down a whole shoe size, normally a 9.5.

I ordered this for my girlfriend birthday for a good intro shoe with low downturn. Since then I nabbed a pair myself. Great for laps at the gym, moderate outdoor sends, crack and multi pitch days. Excellent edging and sticky rubber we love from la sportiva. Any la sportiva shoe you own should be the same size. They just fit

Upgraded from the previous version and these definitely feel better on my feet. Really great beginner shoe! I usually wear a size 10 shoe but ended up going for a 9.5 (hoping they will stretch out).
