Bring back the old model please! The EVOs are narrower, stiffer, and much less capable to climb in.

Still The Best. Just Buy A Half Size Up!
Still the best. News flash.. these fit about a half size smaller than the non-EVO previous version. Buy the correct size and you're golden. These fit like a dream, durability & grip are the same or better than the original version, with (at least for me) the added benefit of a bit more stiffness (and resulting support) in the midsole.

They Killed A Legend
What have you done to this shoe!? The best, most perfect approach shoe ever and now it’s gone… I don’t even have wide feet and this is narrow.

Tx4 Evo
came to say that they run small. My normal street size is between 10.5 and 11. I got these TX4 EVOs in 11.5 and they fit perfect.

Sequels Are Never As Good As The Original
Way to take an amazing shoe and make it horrible. I bought a pair in the same size as my old TX4s not realizing that they had completely changed the design. Much more narrow show with cheaper feeling rubber.

Top-notch Shoe
These are really high quality approach shoes - bomber build, sticks to rock (wet or dry) like your climbing shoes, and they're apparently resolable (I haven't gotten that far yet). Looks like most of the bad reviews are about the shape changing from previous versions, which I understand, but it doesn't warrant all the 1-star reviews. These do fit a foot more on the medium to narrow side, but I think they're still less narrow than a lot of the other LaSpo approach shoes. Always good to try them on before buying.

Worth Buying
Lots of spicy reviews for this shoe which had me a tad concerned but I decided to give them a go. I am very glad I did as I found the shoes to be incredibly comfortable with no issues at all. I have what I think is a regular width foot so I did not find these to be narrow. That said, I've worn La Sportiva Nepals for years so maybe I have a "La Sportiva" foot. I will say that these run very very small which is consistent with every other La Sportiva product I've owned. For instance, I wear a size 44 to 44.5 in pretty much every other shoe however, in the La Sportiva world I wear a size 46 trail shoe and a 46.5 mountaineering boot. In terms of quality, they seem great, no concerns.

Avoid This Latest Gen
I had the 1st gen TX4 and loved them, so I ordered up another pair in the same size. Out of the box it's been a complete blister fest, and the fit in the L shoe is actually causing some foot pain which I have never experienced in a LaSportiva shoe or boot before. Why would you ever drastically change the fit when you have a good thing going? I've owned many pairs of LS shoes/boots over the years and I'm so disappointed. Avoid this latest version and look elsewhere.

What Why No
WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE DESIGN ?! THE NEW VERSION IS SO NARROW AND WEARS POORLY. THE LAST SEVERAL VERSIONS HAVE BEEN AMAZING THIS ONE NOT SO MUCH

New Fit Has Ruined A Classic
Dear LaSportiva: please, for the love of God and climbing, look at these reviews and listen to your customers. Many of us have been through half dozen pairs of these and keep coming back because they were near perfect. Please go back to the old fit!

Great Shoe And Fit Especially For A Narrower Foot.
I absolutely love this approach shoe. Finally one that fits and is super comfortable! That said, I do have a relatively narrow, B-width, low-volume foot. I can't believe it was available in a 13 1/2 as it is nearly impossible to find have sizes in that length. The flex is just right for approaches and rock scrambling ... not too stiff, not too flimsy. Highly recommended.

Evo Only For Narrow Feet.
Old one was perfect. Can‘t wear the new one. way too narrow. Why no wide version? Design also was nicer. New one looks a bit boring.

Tx4 Unfortunate Redesign Too Narrow
As an Outdoor Guide, I used to love their TX4s and owned several pairs. I have an E width foot. Not knowing they redesigned the fit, I online purchased both the TX Guide and the TX4. Bad results, so I went to retailer to try different models and sizes, no luck. My experience is La Sportiva used to be my favorite footwear but no longer offer anything that fits my feet. It seems many others feel the same. Too bad
