Canyoneering destroys shoes. I finally decided to spend the money and get proper shoes. I do about 4 canyons a month in the Colorado Plateau. These have been great in both wet and dry canyons. They come large for the size to allow space for neoprene socks. The Velcro prevents laces from coming untied. The grip is terrific.

Solid Water Shoes!
.bought the shoes several weeks ago and just got off a 4-day rafting trip where I gave them a good workout. By far, they are the best wet rock gripping soles I have ever used in 30+ years of rafting. Looking forward to using them next month for some canyoneering in Utah. They were very comfortable but definitely needs a neoprene water sock, which is purchased separately. My on caution is the sizing. Because you need a water sock, it is recommending getting two European sizes bigger. I did but now wish I only got one European size bigger as the shoes are slightly long and a little loose on the top ankle.

Better Than Advertised - Canyon / Water Shoes
Great water boot, sticky when it needs to be and fine to walk / hike in. Sizing is kinda weird not two sizes too big but a size and a half. Already like these boots for kayaking and beach hiking.
