I bought these about two weeks ago and my first few trips to the climbing gym have been amazing, I currently climb around V4 range and these are amazing for the job, no wear seen yet on these shoes!

**Review of Tarantulaces Climbing Shoes** I purchased a pair of Tarantulaces about a month ago, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! As a beginner who started bouldering just two months ago, transitioning from rental shoes to my own pair has been a game-changer. Right from the first climb, I noticed an incredible difference in performance and comfort. The Tarantulaces provide excellent support and fit snugly without being too constrictive. This has allowed me to tackle more difficult routes with greater confidence and precision. I appreciate how the rubber sole offers fantastic grip, making it easier to maintain my footing on challenging holds. One of the standout features for me has been the balance between comfort and performance. I can wear these shoes for longer sessions without discomfort, which is crucial for someone still getting used to the sport. They’ve truly elevated my climbing experience, enabling me to push my limits and improve my skills. Overall, I love these shoes and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and effective climbing shoe, especially beginners. The Tarantulaces have made a significant difference in my bouldering journey, and I can’t wait to see how much more I can achieve with them!

Only used it twice so far but it's just what i needed. Feels good indoors, intending to try it outdoors soon. The rubber grips well and it's mid-aggressive.

Probably the best deal you are going to find for shoes this good. I bought these as Im going into my second year and wanted to climb more seriously. They are super grippy and durable while being pretty neutral making it good for beginners and those wanting a little more

Very good beginner climbing shoe.. been using it 3 times a week or more for about 3 months and it’s just now starting to wear.. very comfy but definately if you are climbing above V5 or 5.11a and up hard for it to grip on small holds.. definately keeping it for some mellow trad climbs because it’s comfy and you can wear it for a while without foot pain. Definately down side 2 sizes or more because the shoe stretches out pretty fast!

I bought these shoes a month ago and they’re still holding up well. At first they were a bit tight in the toes, but now they’re very comfy to climb in.

I got these to wear for longer easier climbing sessions instead of always suffering through my tight down turned shoes. They are as comfortable as worn-out sneakers but with climbing rubber on the bottom. The grip is great, I only reach for my other fancy shoes when I'm really climbing hard. I sized down a half size from my normal La Sportiva hiking boot size and wear them with lightweight wool socks.

I. Love. Them. Great pick. Super comfy right out the box, true to size and they’ve elevated my climbing to a new level. (See what I did there? Lol)

Bought this shoe, took em to my gym, 1 hour in, the sole solit in half in the front edge (glue coming out), and also split on the heel. I am not joking - hour not even in rock. Took em back.

I have had shoes that hurt and cost twice as much. These are more than capable of doing 99% of the climbing you will ask it to do. Save some money. Save your feet. Get these.

Regular shoe US size: 8.5 to 9 Climbing shoe US size: 7.5 I got these shoes almost 2 years ago and they still fit great. They may have stretched out a tiny bit, but I still feel confident in them whenever I climb. I mostly do indoor climbing but they grip onto even the tiniest foot chips. I can confidently smear when the time calls for it as well. I've taken them outside a few times and they've held up wonderfully. They're also just really comfortable for climbing shoes. Always a bit tight, especially when I just put them on, but not so tight that I have to take them off in between each climb. Would definitely recommend these. Just make sure you try them on first to get the right size.

10.5 US Normal - 42 La Sportiva climbing shoe I bought these once I started to climb back in Dec 2019. They have been a great shoe to learn both in the gym and outdoors. As I have progressed I have come to find I want more aggressive shoe but I will always have these with me. They fit well and do not hurt my feet, I can wear them all day if need be without issue, and they have formed well to the foot. I would recommend this be your first shoe and a good pair to have in general. To get the size that really works for you I would recommend you go into a store to find the fit that works for you. I just purchased the La Sportiva Katana Lace and I am excited to see how they work in comparison.

I bought these a few months ago, but because of the high back of the shoe, the pressure on the achilles tendon resulted in inflammation and pump bump.. (which basically stops me from being able to climb). I've talked to several other people have had a problem with the pressure on the back of the foot, but nothing as severe. Cost is good, and after you break them in, the fit is good. Not sure if it compensates the other problem though.
