Highly Suggest

Climbed five times in these and absolutely love them. Best climbing shoe I've owned for overall versatility and comfort.

Great Heel Cup. A Bit Slippery Initially

Heel cup stays in well and the strap pulling from the Achilles to the mid-foot feels really secure. The rubber on the heel extends up into the arch in a way that is unsettling at first, but actually quite good. The toe box is a bit thin, so if you have wide feet then this is not your shoe. The wide velcro patches allow for a variety of fittings around your tarsal bones and I found nice locations for my feet. I think my only major complaint is that the rubber felt very slippery for the fist few sessions. I initially tried them at a local gym during an event and they felt really solid, but when I got mine they weren't the same. I kept going back to my old shoes for the first few sessions before it did and left me very worried initially, but the slipping didn't last. The friction eventually came into its own and they are currently my everyday climber shoes. They were also a different color than the shoes that I tried at the event, but that doesn't help me climb better so it is not super relevant. Overall, I would say they are a good shoe and the fit feels great. Just make sure to be patient with the rubber. Should be good after a week or so.

Good Daily Gym Shoe

Kubo's aren't what I'd pick to send a hard route, but a reliable gym shoes. Edges and does moderate overhangs well, and is comfortable. Great deal if on discount.

Bought these two weeks ago, comfortanble after one session, amazing grip

Best First Pair Of Climbing Shoes

This show was given to me as a gift, and it ran a little large but I just wore socks and it was a wonderful pair. Had it for about a year before any signs of wear. Would highly recommend for people looking to upgrade from Rental shoes. Worked great for Slab and aggressive overhanging routes.

Comfortable For A More Aggressive Shoe

These shoes fit quite well and are very comfortable for a climbing shoe. I was trying to upgrade from a entry/beginner shoe and was finding so many shoes to not fit very well. My heel doesn't seem to fit in scarpas very well but these fit so well and tight all while allowing some room in the toe box which has been very nice. They seem to perform well for both gym and outdoors.

Great Intermediate Climbing Shoe!

I purchased these after using the Scarpa Origin shoes as my beginner shoe for a few years. I was looking for a climbing shoe that was a bit more aggressive, had more rubber coverage, and wasn't too expensive. The Kubo met all of my expectations and more. They are super comfortable and I can feel they've greatly improved my climbing. I wear a 10.5 in street shoes and got a size 43 in the Kubos. It is tight but over time they have stretched a bit and are great.

Comfortable And Decent Price

I bought this about a month ago and have had many sessions using them since. The shoe is super comfortable and broke in quick. They are a little bit slick when chalk gets on the sole and the heel does not feel the most secure during some heel hooks. Overall I have been very happy with the shoe.

Great Step Up From Tarantula

What a game changer stepping up from the Tarantula without going to a too aggressive shoe. Still comfortable with much more confidence in those small foot holds and heel hooks feels like cheating. v5/v7 here we come!

Great Beginner / Intermediate Shoe

This is my first shoe that was a step up from the rental shoes. Big improvement over what I’m used to. I typically wear a size 12 street shoe and stuck with a size 12 climbing shoe. I like both types of shoes to be tight fitting. My feet are squeezing to fit these but they feel great on the wall. Heel cup is very curved compared to other brands I tried on - still on the fence about whether I like how aggressive the heel is as it puts a lot of pressure on the back of my ankle Though it’s been getting less noticeable as they break in. Recommended for the price!

Great Every Day Shoe

Bought a month ago and have worn them to the bouldering gym 3x per week since. I bought a half size lower than my normal size and they fit snug but not painfully tight. I like that they have a little arch and the toe covering makes them decent enough for cave climbing just as much as slab. They are really comfy and I can wear them without any pain pretty much straight away. my main complaint is that the rubber is a bit slick and soft.

Versatile And Comfortable Shoe

Very happy with these. Super flexible midsole and arch. Lots of grip and sensitivity in the toes and heels. I have high arches and have had trouble finding a good fit, but these have been perfect.

Most Comfortable Shoe Out Of The Box.

True to size and most comfortable straight the box.

Great Intermediate, All-round, And Practice Shoe

The Kubos mean business. They’re not your high performant sending shoe, but aggressive enough to send hard boulders or routes. Even though I downsized by 2 sizes (from EU 45.5 down to 43.5), I can comfortably wear them throughout the session. They also don’t stretch too much, but enough to fit snug on your feet like a second skin. I definitely found my new favorite pair of allround climbing shoes!

Great Step Up

I’ve used them once at a Boulder gym. Super impressed with this new pair of shoes, though my last pair was very well worn. Was looking for something for an intermediate climber and this seems like a great choice so far.
