6 Years And Going Strong

I am in my sixth summer with this sleeping pad so I figured why not write a review. When I decided to get into backpacking, I did a lot of research on sleeping pads that were comfortable, lightweight, durable, and affordable. I picked out this one. Is it the most comfortable pad in the world? I don't know, I can only compare it to a CCF pad that I have, but I can say it is more comfortable than the CCF. I use it about 7-12 times per year, both for car camping and backpacking. I'm a woman and about 115 lbs. When you sit up on it, you feel it bottoming out, but when you lay down, your weight is distributed and it's comfortable. I can often sleep a full 8 hours and wake up without any significant pain. At home, I'm a side sleeper, but while camping I try to sleep more on my back. If I wake up on my side, I would say there's no pain in my hips, but if anything I can feel some temporary soreness in my shoulder. Tip: you should inflate it and then a few hours later top it off with more air. Not because it loses air, but because the warm air will lose volume as it cools. I will also say it takes way more breaths to inflate than the advertised 10-15. If I know it will be cold (say below 50F), I will pair this with my CCF pad for insulation from the cold ground. I continue to recommend Klymit to people who want something affordable but still high quality!

Great For Side Sleeper

Used this for a 2 week bikepacking trip. Saved a bunch of weight compared to my old pad and was comfy! Recently was a bit chilly on a colder night camping but perfect for summer.

Works Well.

nice to have a good pad that is better that what I have ever had. Soft and comfortable and easily inflated and taken down to a small package.

Great!

Great size, great weight, super easy. Can’t wait to use it more.

Customer service has been great, the quality of the pad is as good as many other products that are much more expensive.
