Pretty Nice
They fit well. I like the wide toe box, and the way the laces slide so you can adjust the snugness easily. I'm not giving it that last star because I find they make my feet feel kind of hot. Maybe because the uppers are made of recycled plastic, as the tag proclaims? Also lacking the final star because they are not as comfortable as the Keen Pyrenees, which fit my feet perfectly, breathe well, and are made of leather. Those are the boots that truly love my feet! But I bought the Targhee instead because they are advertised as having a new bonding technology so that the soles will not delaminate. After having two pairs of "perfect comfort" Pyrenees delaminate and fall apart in seven months and two months respectively, I gave up on them and got the Targhee instead. Here is my ideal scenario: Make the Pyrenees with the special technology that allows the sole not to fall apart within months after purchase. I will buy those boots immediately!

Thank You For Adding A Wide Option
Comfortable right away, they could be a tiny bit wider! but the best option I've found since my feet got wider with age.

So Disappointed In Targhee Iv
Never thought I’d give Keen a 3 stars so this makes me sadder than Keen itself I’m sure. I have had Keen Targhee 3 for years. Not 1, not 2, but 3 pairs! I have worn them out completely, they should be framed and put on my wall or something cause of all the places that we have visited together and all the challenging hike that we completed around the world. So it was very sad to say good bye to it and Taghee IV had big shoes to fill. Everything is pretty good with my new shoes, except, and this is a BIG ONE, the TRACTION!! I keep slipping in them, I can’t trust my shoes to grab on to the rocks while hiking and this make me scared sad and so disappointed!! Keen, what changed? IV should have been better than III, so how come it isn’t? I wish you still had III in my size (10 W). Ugh!! I miss my old reliable shoe friend 😩

Too Much Volume, Laces Horrible
Laces need to go. First off, they are not long enough. Not even close. Second, even if you can get them tied, they come undone because they are the tubular style of lace and have a slippery texture, so the knot does not grip. This is also very "high volume" boot. Very sloppy to wear. While the length fits, the toe wideness continues down the whole boot along with extra room on top of the boot. My foot moves around on the inside and I have to wear 2 pairs of socks to "fill" the boot. I appreciate the construction of the boot, but unless you have really full or fat feet, you will have to wear double socks. The colors are not the greatest either, but the grey at least will go with everything.
