Durable And Comfortable
I have had a pair since 2022 and have hiked probably upward of 500 miles in them. They are very comfortable, have excellent traction, and provide good waterproofing. The internal feels very well supported and cushiony. The internal and external soles have lasted very well and the leather has held up well. I will buy another pair for sure. Also, i take good care of them by routinely cleaning them and not leaving them in the sun when I don’t wear them. Highly recommend. Fantastic job Keen!

Pyrenees
I didn't like the three D rings but got over that, however the second time the shoes got really muddy and wet the soles started to separate at the glue joints.

The Best
Im a land surveyor and I travel over a myriad of differing terrains. These boots are light and have great tread for slippery conditions. Id buy a dozen pair if they came in carbon toe.

From Box To Trail
Just got them yesterday & decided to take them on a little 3. 5 mile hike. Boots provided plenty of traction on both mud and wet rocks. Comfort wise I was pleasantly impressed considering I literally took them out the box and hit the trail without any break in time. I definitely like the pyrenees more than my targhee iv. The only negative thing I have to say is, I wish there was more color options like the target iv.

Uncomfortable
Most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever worn. There is no padding around the top/ankle of the boot creating a sharp edge of leather that digs into your ankle very quickly and is very uncomfortable. I wore them a few times and can’t bring myself to wear them again.

One Tiny Problem.
Love the boot but. . . . . . The heel bootstrap loop is too small to hook a finger into. Makes the strap useless for pulling on the boot. Still love the boot.

Ok
They initially had a painful point at the top of the left boot. It took about a week to get it broke in. The laces come off the top eyelets easily.

Great Fit And Comfort- Terrible Sole!
Love/ but disappointed !!! Love the fit, comfort!!! and most everything about the boot. I’m a hunter - I use them exclusively through the fall on a series of outdoor adventures. Had this last pair for only 2 seasons and all of the tread lugs are peeling away. The boots had just gotten into that great broke in stage :(. Sad! Trying glue them but those soles really are pathetically put together.

Would Buy Again
Great boots comfortable right out of the box no break-in needed. I have logged lots of miles in the last 22 months in these boots. In Bryce Canyon NP ,Zion NP, Grand Canyon North Rim ,Appalachian Trail and many others.

Sole Separation
Bought these a year and a half ago and the sole separated from the boot. Not my every day foot wear but would use for yard work, early spring & fall day hikes. Comfortable boots and was very waterproof. Couldn’t rate it higher due to price of the boots.

Not Happy
Just received a new pair to replace last years and they are not as shown on the site or as last years, which are exactly as shown on site. They are suede and not slick leather. They have also been previously worn as they have numerous scuff marks along the sides. Spoke to a rep and they had to escalate and cut off the chat immediately without me being able to respond. Not a happy customer!

Rear Ankle Pain
While there are many features of this boot that were desirable which is why I purchased them. They are nearly unwearable because of no padding at the back of the ankle which has caused sever pain on my achilles. I purchased the end of last season and have wore less than a dozen times. If I can get through a day wearing them, the next day my achilles is so sore I can no longer wear them. I have always been satisfied with my Keen purchases, but this one is a loser. I know it has been a flag ship boot for Keen of many years. If you buy wear them for a an hour or so indoors to insure they do not cause the same problem I have with them.

15 Years
Somewhere around 15 years and probably 1,000 miles ago, I got a set of Keen Pyrenees for fee. After requesting a new set of insoles for my Winterport, they let me pick a brand new set of boots instead. (I still have the outstanding Winterports. ) I randomly picked these. Absolutely the best civilian hikers I’ve ever owned. I was both Army and Marine infantry, so I’ve put plenty of miles down and I value a good pair of boots. Roomy, comfortable and incredibly durable. I just bought an identical pair. I can’t believe how inexpensive they are for the quality you get.

Painful Pressure On The Achille's Heel
The forward angle of the back of the boot leans so far toward the front, that the top pushes so hard on my Achilles tendon I can’t handle wearing these boots at all. Literally makes my tendons sore after 20 minutes. They lean forward more than the pictures depict and the stiff leather rim just digs into my tendons. I’ve never had a pair of boots fit like that. The rest of the boot was good. Definitely a roomy toe box compared to most other boots. But the pain and irritation from the rear top of the boot make it no good for me.
