Excellent Boot
Great boot. Second pair that I have bought. Only complaint is the sole should provide more cushioning. Using aftermarket insoles, I can hike for miles.

Great All Around Boot
Have had a wide-sized pair of these for years. Can't remember exactly but definitely over 5 years, maybe up to 7. Mostly I wear them for outdoor activity with a light pack and a lot of movement patterns upright, kneeling, and some crawling. Also, wear them for some hobbyist shop work on concrete. With some other boots I've had the sole would have separated from the upper by now, but the Keens are completely intact not even one spot showing weakness. The tread is still deep and works very well in the rough stuff. The leather tops are still in excellent condition. The boots are comfortable, the heel squishes the right amount for high impacts (running) and the sole is thick enough to be very protective in very rough rocks. I have a fairly wide foot, sometimes too wide for 'wide' shoes. The wide-sized Durand works very well for me, good room for foot to splay out in the toe box. I am going to say 'runs wide' on fit because these are conventionally sized boots, which for me is a good thing. Only one slight issue for me, in the last 6 months (after years of hard use), some riveted eyelets have popped off down around my first toe knuckles. Since I'm not worried about looks JB weld fixes this issue, and the boots are back to 100% functionality. My family has had many pairs of Keen shoes and so far the brand has been very trustworthy

Best Boots I’ve Owned!
Best pair of hiking boots I’ve owned. They took about a month to fully break in and now they’re perfect. I’ve put well over 1,000 miles on these in the alps of Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Norway, Washington, and Colorado and they’re in top shape. Couldn’t ask for more!

Get Them And Enjoy The Clouds
Would give 5 if the eyelets didn't snap off when they brushed up against a ladder. The most comfortable boots I've ever owned, will not wear anything else 18+ hours a day in these things and I can keep going. Please make the eyelets the same at the Dover boots and it will be 5 star everyday

Good Waterproof Relatively Lightweight Hiking Boots
I had a pair of Durand I boots for about 5 or so years and they fit and worked well. They were about worn out so I ordered the Durand II model. I looked at a lot of other hiking boots but all were too narrow even in their Wide fit models. The Durand I and Durand II boots have a wide fore-foot toe box area that I need. The old boots will now be for lawn and garden and the new ones will be for beach hiking, mountain bike riding, and general use. The Durand II model has a few upgrade design details but overall looks like the second generation of the same basic design.

Quality Lacking
I have been wearing these boots for years. They always used to fit perfect and wear awesome. Now the insoles are wrinkled and sizing between the two shoes are different. Quality is lacking. I tried on 3 different pair, then gave up and bought a pair of Red Wings.

Great Boot. A Couple Manufacturing
Great boot. A couple manufacturing defects with my last couple pairs, but Keen was quick to replace them at no cost

2nd Pair
This is my second pair of Durands and they're just as comfortable and supportive as the first. Seems like they made a couple of changes from the first ones but for the better. We'll see in the long term.

The Worst!
Absolutely the WORST hiking boot I've ever owned in my 60+ years. The stitching failed in multiple places on both boots not long after purchasing them. (Many people have the same complaint about this model boot. ) Unfortunately, I didn't keep the receipt and couldn't remember where I bought them. Keen said no receipt, no warranty which I understand. They told me to get them repaired. I did. The repairs are failing in the same places. There's something about this boot design that makes them fall apart. They're comfortable, but falling apart. I switched to the Lowa Renegade. Much better quality.

My Feet Hurt
This is my sixth pair of Durand boots . I hike six miles a day in the desert on rocky uneven serfices. I can't wait to take them off, they hurt my feet and ankles. I would like to return them.

Durable And Waterproof
I've put over 600 miles in these boots and am satisfied. I've used them for hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, winter hikes, and everything in between. They've been waterproof and durable. My only complaint is the threads have torn in a few places and seems have come undone. The tread still has life so I wish keen would fix these boots for me. Also, these boots are definitely on the heavier side.

So Comfortable
It's so hard to find shoes for my wide feet and I care a lot about having a nice toe box as well. Comfortable shoes for the trail!
