Prefer The Original Version

I've owned several pairs of Julbo glasses and I have to say these are not my favorite. While these glasses have good clarity and great sight lines, the lenses are so large they rest uncomfortably on my cheek bones. Much prefer the closer fit of the original Explorers. Also they have a cheap plastic feel. They'll be going back.

Great Glasses But Not For A Large Face

BUY AGAIN? No, I have a large face and they were too tight. I looked at all the Julbo sunglasses I could find, the Explorer 2.0 looked to be the best, but after getting them I found them just too small.

Mountaineering/climbing/biking/skiing

I have used these all spring and summer for ski touring and alpine climbing. Work exactly as i need them. Great fit. Very happy with the purchase.

Good Sunglasses, But Not That Dark

I bought these in anticipation for high altitude hiking with the promise that "Cat 4" lenses would be super dark. After testing them in everyday conditions (walking around my neighborhood, driving to the grocery store, etc...), they're barely any darker than my cheap, store-brand sunglasses (shown at bottom in the picture). The over quality of the frame and lenses is definitely better, but the darkness is maybe 1/2 a shade darker than my store-brand glasses. For the reason I purchased these sunglasses, I was disappointed and will keep looking for something with sufficient lens darkness.

Wonderful Glasses But Not Long-eyelash Friendly.

Hiked up Colorado’s Mt. Elbert with these bad boys. Easily the best sunglasses I’ve ever used. Adjusted to every type of lighting perfectly. The only problem is that my eyelashes rub against the lenses.

Nice...very Nice

Pick these up to replace a pair of jolbo sunglasses I bought last year. Needed to update and I lov them. Wear them everywhere and for everything.

Problem Solved

I am out on the water, snow, and in general outside for work a ton. Glare is a constant issue and these glasses helped out with that. LOL! When my girlfriend tried them on and stepped outside she said, "Wow! It's like seeing in HD!"

Great Sunglasses

I hike extensively in the New Hampshire White Mountains. This is my second pair of Julbo mountaineering sunglasses and I am extremely satisfied with them. They are excellent for use on sunny winter days above treeline. The fit is perfect. The photochromic lenses lighten up really well so they are also useful in the woods. I would definitely buy them again!

Excellent Clarity...but

Lenses on these are great but lots of light leak causing lots of reflection in my vision. Maybe it’s just my face shape (oval) but I found this unacceptable.

Great Glasses

Great fit. Would definitely buy again. I wish they came with a case for packing during air travel but you can an inexpensive case online. Plan taking these to a Mt. Baker mountaineering course this summer

Protect The Eyes And Get Compliments

I wear these sailing and MTB, the protect the eyes and people ask me where I got them. Don’t hesitate. The most difficult thing about these glasses was figuring out how to put the whatever it’s called, lanyard. you have to use a little force to go in the hole.

They Work

Explorer 2.0 Sunglasses give excellent coverage, are light weight and comfortable. They are #5 so dark, but I wanted them for desert and snow...perfect.

Good Quality

I bought these so I don't have to wear goggles where conditions are not too bad but still need eye protection. They are nice quality and block a lot of wind, and snow but they sit a bit too far down on my nose which can be annoying for extended periods of time. the spectron 4 are great for a sunny day, but are probably too dark for a lot of what I would like to use them for.

So Far So Good.

Purchased these recently for winter hiking/snowshoeing in NH's White Mountains for protection from snow glare, which can be a real issue, particularly above tree line. So far I am pretty pleased. They will fog a bit with strenuous exercise, but that is to be expected. I did put a decent scratch in one lens on my first outing, which is a total bummer, but I don't blame the product.

Way Too Big For Petite Head

I bought these for my trip to Alaska. All the lens descriptions are great and wonderful but the frames are way too big for my petite head. Even after molding sides and adding nose pads, way too big for my petite head. So sadly, these were not used.
