80dz Igloo Unit/beast

I’m liking it so far, two weeks in and able to withstand the Texas heat. The smaller side has a small seal leak after I did the light test. I know that was an issue with these coolers. Happy so far though. Side note: it’s absolute unit, about 50 pounds I think. Two man job to get it out of the car.

Thumbs Up 👍 Amazing Cooler

I have multiple coolers, I will never use no more because of this cooler, never will I use ice again because of this cooler, no more soggy juice boxes for my boys, no more wiping down my drink before drinking no more checking to see if i have enough ice or evenly layered ice drinks, ice drinks and so on, Also how cold it gets, I would recommend turning the cooler on a day before using and setting it to the temperature you desire just for your experience will no skip a beat, I have to get some wheels for it I hope igloo comes out with a wheel add on kit

Great Until It's Not

Loved it for the 4 months it worked. It's now making a very loud noise and stopped cooling.

Great Fridge, Ok Freezer

Love the fridge but they should make a cover for it like everyone else does. We use this in the bed of our Jeep and it struggles to stay at freezer temps in warm weather like our Truma did before we put a cover on it.

Excellent But Check Your Seals.

Bought one with a build date of dec 2023 and one of the compartments did not seal properly. Returned it and bought a unit with a build date of February 2024. This one seals properly and cools both sections down at the same rate. On a river 2 pro I got about 70 hours of runtime from 98 to 0. Both sections set to 30 degrees, this lines up with other power consumption tests of other domestic fridges showing an average of 11wh usage per hour. You can double check to make sure your unit is sealing properly by placing a bright light inside and then closing the door, if you see light coming through then it is not sealing properly
