Love/hate Relationship With Hydrojug

I bought this a couple of weeks ago when I was looking for a good leak-proof jug with a handle to take fishing. The cute pattern caught my eye! The things I love is that it IS leake-proof and it keeps ice in my cup 18 hours! 32 oz. is the perfect size. The thing that I am so disappointed in is that it is NOT dishwasher safe on the top rack. I took it out of the dishwasher this morning and a huge chunk of the pattern/coating is gone! It peeled off in the dishwasher, leaving shiny silver steel showing. This was literally only the 4th time that I’ve washed it. Since I take it fishing, it can get dirty enough that I prefer using my dishwasher. For the money, I recommend buying another brand, or only hand wash.
