Shoe Was Not For Me

I purchased a pair to replace my Hoka speedgoat 4. Out of the box they look very nice. The sizing was good, but the toebox never felt right, too much play for my liking, just never felt secure. I tried to run in them anyway on a maintained trail and once again they just never felt right. On several occasions of got a "twinge" in the bottom of my foot like someone was plucking a guitar string. It also just felt a bit sloppy on my foot. Maybe they simply were not made for me, I'm an over 200lb runner, it's possible the target audience is below that. You may have better luck than I did. I end up returning them and grabbed a pair of speedgoat 5, which I am very happy with.
