Outer tent fabric is Kerlon 1200 and the poles are 9 mm, which makes the tent very lightweight, strong and stable
All season construction tent wall can be extended to ground and the mesh area is backed with an adjustable fabric panel
Dome construction with multiple crossing pole points provide excellent stability for snow-load handling capability
Used ideally as a one person tent
Separable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching
Self supporting dome design requires no pegs for pitching
Tent contains pole system that makes for quick and easy set up
Single entrance tent with single vestibule configuration allows for easy entrance and storage space
Add an optional footprint that will cover the outer tent area including the vestibule. It can directly connect to the tent, and can be attached while pitching.
The complete tent's outer or inner tents can be used separately. For the pitching the inner tent alone it requires optional pole holders.
Designed for short and long trips in less harsh environments and conditions in all seasons like the forests in winter and summer
Great for withstanding heavy storms, but the lighter weight is not ideal on super harsh extended trips
Capable of withstanding heavy storm conditions, and the lighter weight is why some experienced hikers take this along instead of a more durable, heavier tent
Outer tent goes all the way to the ground for awesome all weather protection
Designed using lighter weight zippers as well as lighter weight inner tent and floor fabrics to keep the weight at a minimum

Excellent Tent
I bought this tent a few months ago for a pacific north west late season backpack hunt. Hilleberg has lived up to its name thus far. The second day in I awoke to about 3 inches of snow on the tent. With a gentle tap on the tent walls the snow fell right off. Condensation was mentioned in a lot of reviews for this tent. As long as you are diligent about ventilation you can keep condensation to a minimum. I never opened the top vent, but I did leave the inner tent door configured with just the mesh as the outer tent and vestibule touches the ground, there is no need to close the inner tent door. This reduced condensation to a mere few drops on the top of the tent. Which could have probably been eliminated all together if I opened the top vent. Something else I think is noteworthy, I am on the taller side and my sleeping pad and bag were slightly touching the walls of the tent. Typically on a single layer tent, this can pull moisture inside. However, on this Hilleberg, there is an outer tent as well, which I think prevented that phenomenon from occurring as there was no moisture on my feet or head after several nights in the tent of barely touching the walls during sleep. I would highly recommend this tent to anyone in a higher precipitation, high wind or very cold environment. One night was very windy and the temperature dipped into the teens. I remained very comfortable in this tent. I am very pleased with the performance and ease of setup with this tent.

Truely 4-season Tent
I have bought this specifically for winter camping in mountains. Based on many reviews in the internet this tent has a solid reputation. Have not had chance to try in outdoor yet. The price is very high. It took me couple of years to make a decision to buy the tent.

When You Need The Best.
If you are going to be in harsh conditions, this is it. Small enough when packed, holds up to insane winds and snow. I’ve had this for years and have never regretted the purchase. You just can’t go wrong with this for a winter tent.

Used For 2 People Mountaineering
I borrrowed this exact tent from a tent for me and a friend to use for our whole climbing season in the PNW on multiple snow camp outs and summits to Baker and Rainier. There was not a lot of room for 2 people as it is a solo tent, but we made it work for 2 people (sleeping pads, gear and all) and had a system down. Our first campout was a hard slap and tons of laughter and a steep learning curve that we had to figure this out, and we did and it was not an issue later. It was very easy to haul up as it weighed next to nothing and my tent mate would carry the poles and footprint and I the tent. Everything was easy to setup and it kept us warm on those cold nights and cool enough when vented on the days where you’re resting to gear up later. It was easy to clean and shake off and never kept an odor and easily dried out after a long weekend in the snow. We did wish it had a second door and vestibule, but we did just fine. We tripped over the black strap connected to the vestibule a few times but we figured out how to cover it and avoid it. All in all it was worth it. We both are 5’9” athletic built women to give an idea.

Quite Sturdy And Easy To Setup.
Overall a really good tent, but can get very messy if setup in rainy weather. It is a lso a bit difficult to dry and clean. However it is very sturdy, light and very easy to setup.
