Design and Details

  • Kerlon 1000 outer tent fabric and 9mm poles make for a supremely lightweight tent that is still quite strong
  • 3 season design: ventilation is built into the construction, and the inner tent mesh areas have no backing fabric panels
  • Dome construction with two main crossing poles is an excellent choice for tough pitching conditions
  • A good amount of room for two occupants and their gear
  • Linked but separable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching
  • Self supporting dome design requires only the vestibule to be pegged, and the simple full sleeve and tensioner pole system make for quick, easy set up
  • Dual entrances and vestibules ensure that one door can always be situated out of the wind and provide flexible entry/exit and storage options
  • An optional footprint (sold separately) covers only the inner tent area and not the vestibule. It connects directly to the tent, and can be left attached during pitching
  • The inner tent can be replaced with a mesh inner tent (sold separately; see accessories)
  • The outer and inner tents can be used separately. Pitching the inner tent alone requires optional pole holders (see accessories)

Excellent Quality.

I’ve had this tent out in it all day and all night rain with showers back-and-forth. It was dry inside at the end of it. I bought this tent though for the freestanding design that has the wind protection that other freestanding tents do not have. It has done well in 80 km an hour winds and I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t do well in 100 K or more winds. So far I am very happy with the purchase.

Best 2 Person Money Can Buy

I have 10 or so nights in the Rogen and had to buy my own. I’ve. Slept in pounding wind above tree line and on top of snow down in the timber. Just a quality tent with great vestibules and a breeze to setup. It’s not some Uber lightweight tent, but will hold up to the elements and you can rest easy even with nasty weather happening knowing you’re in a tent built to withstand it.

Home Sweet Home

Purchased in late September so I have only had the opportunity to use the Rogan on a few trips, but so far it has not disappointed! A total of 17 nights and the Rogan is holding its own. Yes it's a bit pricy, but I'm replacing a less than one year old lightweight tent that was also a bit pricy and just didn't hold up. Not a true four season tent but I'm looking forward to a few more nights out in Nov so we'll see how it does in the snow.

Great Service

This is my first time to purchase with ya’ll. You had the exact tent I wanted and shipped it faster than I actually expected. Thank you so much.

Light & Dry

Purchased this mainly for bikepacking. The tent is extremely easy to pitch and the inner tent space and headroom is good for two adults especially with its two vestibules and entrances. Had been in a heavy rain during a day and it kept my things well and dry. Also like the quality of the mesh panel. It feels smooth and durable.
