Used them on a recent skiing trip. Handled the snow and ice great. The gloves came with a little sleeve of oil sealer. Make sure you use it, helps water proof the palms and keep the leather supple.

For starters, Hestra’s size selection allows for a more precise fit. Any 3 finger model is a slight compromise over a mitt for warmth, but you can always bring your index finger in as needed. They are reasonably warm, though not expedition gloves, and I expect to throw in warmers for temps in the low single digits (F), or below. The wrist/cuff adjustments function well. The soft leather makes for a very supple feel and were fairly nimble when tinkering with gear. The wrist strap/handcuffs were overkill for me and swapped with a traditional straps. Haven't owned long enough to attest to the durablity.

Bought these Hestra Helli Ski Gloves last year, wore them every day on Antartica Mt Vinson climb Jan 2022. Excellent dexterity , fit, comfort and quick drying, ( I would sleep with them off in my bag...

A friend had a pair of these and recommended them and I have to say, these are the best gloves I have ever had. I'm a downhill skier and the 3 finger design is perfect for functionality and warmth. I've worn them with and without liners and they are super comfortable, flexible and warm. After 5 decades skiing, these are the best.

I bought a pair of the Hestra Army Leather Heli Ski 3-Finger Gloves for my son snow boarding. The quality of materials and construction in these gloves CANNOT be beat! Comfort and warmth are excellent. I'd buy these again and again.
