Novel Duffle

Do all of these have the faux leather handles? I am very happy with the bag itself, except for the faux leather. IMO it makes it look… well…. cheap :( But I understand it’s probably a cost decision .

Faux Leather Strap Peeling

The bag is great but the fake leather strap is peeling & making a huge mess everywhere! I see that I’m not the only one… but don’t see that Herschel is doing anything about this. You are warned if you get the faux leather strap

Shoulder Strap Broke And Handles Are Peeling

I bought this bag a few years ago because I loved the timeless way it looked. Fast forward, I have rarely used it and kept it stored in doors for its entire life on a shelf. I pulled it out to use for a weekend trip and the hand straps were flaking fake brown leather everywhere. And then when I got to my destination, one of the plastic side pieces where the shoulder strap hooks on broke while I was carrying the bag. The strap flew up and hit me right next to my eye. Left a bruise and was lucky I had sunglasses on. Bag wasn’t heavy either, only carrying clothes for a weekend.

Overpriced. Poor Quality Handles

Terrible quality on the handles. The faux leather rubs off with hardly any use. For the price paid, you’d expect better materials. I’m seeing similar criticisms across the comments section so hopefully this feedback is being taken into account for future design iterations.
