Luxury Item For Backpacking
For camping without a lot of backpacking, I think there are a bit heavier and sturdier choices that better fit the purpose. For multi-day backpacking, this is a luxury item that you don't actually need. I bought this because I want to go on backpacking but fully enjoy comfortable experience after setting up my tent for the night. For this purpose, there isn't anything better than this out in the market at the moment. Just a few things to note for potential buyers, top plate has softshell covering hard plastic inserts, so having stoves on it wouldn't be very safe. Because it is a super light table, it has some wobble so when many things are put on the table, make sure they are more or less balanced.

Excellent Little Table!
Have not had the chance to use this in the great outdoors yet, but my three grandchildren all sat and ate and bounced around this fabulous little table for Christmas dinner. I would say if you can test it with toddlers and it holds up, it will definitely exceed any load needed in an outdoor situation. Super easy to put together and super compact in the little bag. I wish I would have purchased this sooner. I have always been balancing my stove and other items on rocks...now I can just balance!

Great table for camping, picnics, outdoor events....the list could go on! Easy to carry, easy to set up, my five year old granddaughter loves to be the one to set this table up. So happy we purchased this to go with the helinox camp chairs, I love how the table and chairs have their own carry bags. Had a hard time choosing between the soft top table and this hard top, and I am glad we spent the extra for this one. The hardtop tables were just what I wanted. The smaller for backpacking to set a stove on and keep things off the ground and the larger for car camping. They are light weight, plenty sturdy and should last.

I wanted a hard table to have something to keep a stove off the ground, place a drink next to a Helinox Chair One, and maybe even keep my backpack off the ground in the vestibule to take care against mice tearing apart the pack at night.
