The packaging is excellent. I love this smaller version because is portable and lightweight. The grip is comfortable, and I used it to cut the palm tree branches that were always blocking my view. Definetely recommended!

I am very impressed with this item. I thought the blades wouldn’t be strong enough for wood and boy was i proven wrong. It handles really well and you have to watch how you handle the blades because its very sharp. Its not heavy but not light either. Right in the middle. The performance and great and i was at it for a few hour. Never any sudden dullness of the blades at all. Youll be very happy getting one of these

The gator machete Junior has a high carbon steel blade, with a nylon gator grip handle. It has an integrated saw also and cross cut teeth. I like that the product came with its own sheath and an adjustable lanyard.

This machete is easy to handle for small tasks like cutting bushes. It's a little hard to cut tree branches. It's more like a knife since it can't do much.

This worked perfectly trimming up some of our shrubs and trees of old branches and cutting down some weeds. It cut smoothly and efficiently. Lightweight and looks good!

This machete is a perfect size for me. It is nice and sharp and allows me to either saw or cut. It does take a bit of strength in your arms to use. I am a Gardner so I have been using it for weeds. I also cut a small tree with it. It works great.

This Machete has been so useful! Love the way it’s conforms to my hand, love the design! It has helped me tremendously! We had to cut some smaller vines down and it did it without any trouble at all. Very safe, such a great product! Very happy with this!

It was a good knife but overall a little light for using like a machete. I needed a little more weight to cut through the vines in my backyard. The saw blade could be a little sharper too.

Received product intact without damages, The size of the machete is versatile, I do a lot of tree trimming and this has came in very useful, the sharpness has not gotten dull even after several uses. The sign is sleek and the sheath is useful.

One thing to note is that while the saw side works well for small branches, it can take some effort on thicker pieces of wood. I’m really impressed with this Gerber machete! I feels sturdy, well-balanced and very comfortable to hold. The grip has a solid, secure feel, which makes it easy to handle for longer use. The blade looks sharp and durable, and I like that it has both chopping and sawing functions, making it super versatile for outdoor work and yard cleanup. The quality feels excellent right out of the package, and it definitely seems built to last. Great value for the price - highly recommend!

Must have for your next camping trip. With coming summer we have ramped up our camping game. And Gerber Gear Gator Machete Jr made our recent camping experience epic! It is so thick and sharp everything felt like butter! You could chop and saw together! The nylon sheath is the perfect safety cover for safekeeping and for keeping it with you without cutting yourself!
