This is a tough machete. I cut down some brush in the backyard and it did good. It was not as sharp as I would have thought. I had to sharpen it to really get anything done. But other than that it is built trough. Fits nice in your hand and just works well.

The Gerber Gator Machete Jr+ Edgefield is a great combo that is lightweight, and surprisingly portable for camping, keeping in a truck, or taking with on a hike. Overall it feels well balanced in your hand. Without feeling too heavy. The grip gives excellent control, especially after using for a while. The dual edge design comes in handy by adding versatility for clearing brush or cutting small limbs. The included shear is a nice touch and makes carrying it easy and safe.

Wry nice machete for the price. Sliced right through a branch right out of the package. Comes with a holster too. The handle fits his grip nicely. It’s comfortable to use and lightweight.

Really happy with this machete! I used it mainly for gardening and yard work, and it worked great. It’s lightweight but sturdy, easy to handle, and sharp enough for trimming branches and thick plants without too much effort. The grip feels secure and comfortable, which made gardening a lot easier. Definitely a useful tool to have around!

This machete is awesome. It fits nice and snug in the sheath and has a great grip on it. Cuts through things like butter. Perfect to have for a camping trip or even to use to help trim down some branches and bushes around the house. I would highly recommend!

I genuinely love the Gerber Gator Junior Machete. The first thing I noticed about it was how comfy it feels in my small hands. The grip handle is easily my favorite feature because it feels so secure. The safety features also make it feel gripping and easier to control than a large machete. This machete also came incredibly sharp. Sharp enough that I’ve been so careful with it and have only been using it on shrubs and skinny trees. Even with the light testing, it cuts through brush with such ease that it feels like butter. This machete could definitely handle much more if needed. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the Gerber Gator Machete Junior. Between the comfortable grip, the sharpness, manageable size, and functionality, it feels like a well designed tool for a great price! If you want a machete that is easy to handle, comfortable to use, and powerful, I would say this machete should be your first choice.

This product has been very useful. It’s lightweight and feels great in the hand. The grip is also quite comfortable. It’s definitely not for large limbs or projects, but it works super well on small branches and vines. Overall, this is a trustworthy product I’d recommend everyone bring out on their next adventure!

The Gator machete felt nice in the hand. The blade seemed to hold up for the use i used it for. The blade held its edge well using. It came with a nice holder to keep it safe.

this machete is perfect for cutting tree branches. the grip on the handle is perfect, it helps you get a perfect slice on the branch without leaving it very woody, i think its worth the buy it you have a lot of intrusive tree branches or bushes you wanna get rid of.

I was actually very impressed. It came together fully assembled. Its design is very sleek and lightweight. If I had used full strength it definitely could’ve cut through the tree. It didn’t hurt my arm & wasn’t heavy.

This machete was great to have for getting rid of some unwanted branches that I had in my front yard! It was easy to use and did a great job. It is made with high quality materials and should last us a long time. It is easy to transport with the nice case. It is surprisingly lighter than I thought it would be which I am very happy about. One of my sons took it to the hills and used it in some thick vegetation and said it was super handy. We are pleased with it and my boys all say it’s a keeper!!

Compact design makes it more sturdy to use. The size is perfect for small and large hands as well. Blade and saw are both very sharp. Carrying case to safely travel with it.

I’m loving my new Gator Jr.! It’s super easy to grip and the weight is even. It works great cutting through overgrown bushes. I haven’t noticed any rust or anything. Would recommend.
