I bought this saw about 4 months ago and yesterday was the first time that I ever used it . After cutting one limb off of a tree, the saw separated and would not lock in place anymore. I have bought my last gerber product.

Junk Handle
On my third one for the same reason.Fast cutting durable blades, the handle however is sub par. The mold is too thin where you swap blades and comes apart.

It's A Pull Saw.
High carbon steel. Use according to design. Do not push, twist or bend and it will stay sharp and last many years.

Cheap
I was 7 and a half logs into a lean-to and the 'mechanism' that folds the blade shot across the forest somewhere and was lost forever in the snow and left me with the handle in my hand and the blade halfway through a fallen tree ... would not buy again

Total junk, broke within g the first minute of using it. The quality is cheap.
