This is such a sleeper hit! I am a student and use it for class. Right now I have in it: Macbook Pro 13", iPad pro 11", small book, stack of readings, protein bar, pen case, and three little organizer bags (one for makeup, one for chargers, one with a foldable grocery bag). Strap feels sturdy when I have it on the smallest setting, and the storm color is nice without being too wild. It feels sleek and professional, and the G-1000 makes me confident it'll last a while.

I got this bag as a gift more than a year ago and it's been my go-to! It's simple but so useful! The zippered pockets are great for holding pens and lots of stuff, despite looking small from the outside. Being able to zipper everything closed has helped keep everything inside dry in unexpected rain and snow. And the crossbody strap is even big enough to accommodate my huge winter puffer coat! I love this bag so much and sad there aren't more colors available! That said, my bag still looks like new and seems to take a beating so the only reason I was looking for a replacement was for more color options 😂 fantastic bag! Would totally recommend.

perfect for travel or for running around the city. Great size, fantastic handles and strap, and good zipper compartments. I have it in two colors, the rust and the teal blue.

Pleasantly surprised by how much I like this bag. Easy to carry and find items inside the bag. It is the perfect size, not too small and not too big. I like the handles and the option to wear it as a crossbody. The quality of the fabric and zippers are good, as well.

This is a great size for holding the necessities plus a sketch book, snacks, sunscreen, and mini umbrella. I love the fabric, long zip top, and the handles on top. To make this bag perfect it would need a divider down the center, perhaps another inside zip pocket, and definitely a wider strap. With all my stuff loaded it can get heavy for such a skinny strap.

Love this. Bought it in "Basalt" along with the Vardag Pocket in "Basalt" (to use as a wallet). It's been the perfect international travel duo. Used them both on a recent trip to Sarajevo. The Crossbody was excellent in crowds or situations where there might be thieves. It holds just enough to include the basics plus a light jacket for the day. I could sling it to the front and keep a hand on the handles if in a crowd, or flip it around to the back when hiking or in a more secure area. It's rugged and didn't stand out excessively. It was great in a rain storm! The Vardag Pocket held money, passport, credit cards and phone and could be taken out of the Crossbody and hidden under my clothes for extra security, when needed.

I bought two of these bags in the black and the purple. They are my new favourite bags. So lightweight but easy to carry and fits a lot of stuff besides just the essentials. You can carry your iPad, water bottle and knitting , if you like. I may end up buying the green one as well as I have another Fjallraven bag in that colour and love the colour.

I bought this to use for travel as well as for walking around when I want to add a water bottle and maybe a light sweater or a book to my bag . My daughter has one and she recommended it. Everything for the day fits and it doesn't look overstuffed. I have the dark blue color and love the classic look -- it seems to go with most everything.> I am looking at another color to have another one to use as well!

I love this bag and this brand. The size is perfect for a daily bag/purse. It fits everything I need. The material is durable. It's nothing fancy but it works. I got it in black for a basic everyday bag. The only issue is that it does tend to collect lint and fuzzys or any lint. It can be a nusance but I just use a lint roller and it's all good.

This bag is great for holding all the essentials for myself and my toddler. It holds plenty, and I love that it has a carry handle as well as a crossbody strap. There are two zippered compartments, one on the inside and one on the outside in the back. There’s plenty of room and you never feel like you’re trying to find something in a black hole. Everything is accessible. Would definitely recommend for casual outings or errands.

Bought my vardag bag in march of 2022 so just over 1 year from writing this review (may 2023) . size is perfect and it's waterproof and it's a messenger bag as well as a grab bag . I can fit loads in it inc iPad mini and it also has a iPhone pocket on the outside of the bag which makes things so easy to get quick access to your mobile phone. inside pockets as well and I've added a metal clip loop for quick access for my keys . I can fit a good size purse inside it as well and my coin purse , umbrella , gloves . price is very reasonable as well . I have the storm colour and my bag still looks as good as new . cannot fault this bag at all . I use my bag all year round not just the warmer months , it's a perfect all year round bag .

Love this bag. I already have a black one and bought another in the blue. Lightweight and slim in design yet it holds a lot. I carry a wallet, cosmetic case, card case, glasses case, two Ka ken keychains, a small planner and tissues. Yet it still doesn’t feel heavy. Love the short grab handles and the adjustable king strap.

I purchased this bag to use as my "personal item" for an international flight and sight-seeing at the destination. Since my main luggage for the trip was a backpack, I wanted a bag that was versatile and could be easily carried/held by shoulder or by hand. The short handles worked very well as I traversed the airport, and the main compartment was big enough to hold two Kindles, a water bottle, and other stuff I needed to access during the flights. The shoulder handle is only aspect of the bag where I had an issue: the material is very rough and chafed my skin when it slid off my shirt onto my neck/shoulder. Otherwise, the bag performed very well when I carried it on sight-seeing jaunts. I accidently rubbed the bag up against a stone wall one day, and the material held up very well. The bag could be improved by adding a shoulder protector/pad to the handle to prevent irritation.

I bought this to keep my knitting in and misc stuff. I love it! I was looking for a low, cube-like tote and I found it here! When I need it to stand upright-ish, I slouch it down. I wish I could attach my photos of it!
