I’ve used this bag nearly daily since I bought it three or four years ago. I was a bit doubtful at first that it was ‘waterproof’, but it has proved itself again and again in heavy downpours- I put my phone, money, tickets, maps in there with complete confidence! It holds a surprising amount in it and is super comfy worn cross-body. I got the navy blue, which is a lovely soft colour, not the navy of a school uniform!

Amazing hip pack, stylish, comfortable and lightweight. Very happy with this purchase!

Since i go camping and hiking, ive been looking for a bag that fits slim against my body, but doesn't skimp on organization features. The compression straps are great for water bottle storage, umbrella, or extra layer. The internal mesh pockets help keep any random nik-naks from turning the bag into a chaotic mess. Not afraid to take the bag into town either and feel good doing it.

Love the look and functionality. Looks great to wear as either a hip or cross body pack. Has plenty of room to carry all my essentials. I only wish it had more interior separation or pockets. It has one main compartment with a mesh pouch and one small zip compartment in the back that’s rests against your body.

I use this as a cross-body bag for the gym to keep my phone, keys, and wallet from constantly falling out of my pockets. Its also big enough to fit a standard water bottle small cloth to clean machines with. The other use for this I've found is going on walks. It's perfect to fit a water bottle and EDC item, like pepper spray or a concealed carry handgun. Its honestly a neat little bag that has a ton of uses.

I have this pack along with the Fjallraven Kanken Hip Pack. It's my adventure pack, the main compartment is easy to access while hiking or biking, and the zippers are smooth once broken in after a few days of use. The material is definitely waterproof, but the zippers aren't taped. The main front pouch has a material flap over the zipper to keep rain from getting in the front pouch, but the back pouch zipper will leak a bit of water depending on how hard it rains, not much, but some in a moderate rain. Would prefer to pay more for waterproof zippers if it were an option, but otherwise a perfect hip pack for all your active pursuits The main storage holds more than you might expect..

My daughter was thrilled to find this hip pack. She uses it nearly daily. She likes to carry it as a cross body sometimes, and occasionally as a hip pack. It holds all the little things she likes to have with her.

I can’t carry purses over my shoulder or even across my body due to arthritis. So when I go out I carry a small backpack. The problem (to me) was every time I wanted to access my phone, keys, or wallet, I had to swing my pack around and root in the backpack. I found this medium waist pack by Fjallraven to be the perfect size for my daily use. It’s not too large (which means I can’t overload it), but large enough to carry my keys, phone, wallet, and a mask. I also clip on a reusable shopping bag, I walk a lot, and it is very comfortable. I bought the Lava Red; it’s a beautiful color.

I use this bag when I'm walking my dog. I can carry an extra dog leash, along with treats and a few other items. There is a ton of room in the front pocket. There is also another pocket that is smaller in the back that you can use for various items. I extended the strap so I can wear it across my chest, which is very comfortable. The bag is very well made and the color is really pretty. I would very much recommend this to anyone that wants a good looking bag that is also functional and can carry a lot of stuff.

I use this bag for travel or when I don't want anything in my pockets. The material is durable and easy to clean. I took off one star because the internal organization is not great. I don't like to carry much, but I still have to rummage to find things.

Was worried this would be a bit too big but I find the size just right. I’m a Male, 5 ‘ 11’”. Love the color and will likely be a very practical piece for spring or summer hiking.

I bought this to replace my leather backpack because I wanted a more casual and practical bag for day today. I live in Michigan and we have a busy outdoor lifestyle. This is my first product from this company and I am really impressed with the quality of the fabric, zippers, etc. I don’t personally use the bungees on the bottom, but I love that there are organizational pockets on the inside and an extra zipper pouch on the outside. When I turn it around to access the bag, I don’t feel like things are going to fall out all over the place like I have with other brands. It’s taking me a little bit to get used to because it is smaller than my previous bag but it’s big enough to hold a wallet, phone, Keys, Chapstick, and a few other miscellaneous things!!

Works in the office or outdoors. Durable. Highly water resistant. Carrys a lot. Nails basics. Nice color selection. Can’t go wrong. Comfortable as sling or hip carry

I love the capacity of the bag. I love the red gold color. I love the durability. It’s so comfortable to wear. But I really wish that the pocket on the back was just 5mm longer so that I could get my big iPhone in and out. Or that the zipper was smaller. My phone technically fits, but it’s difficult to get in and out. I would also kill for another internal divider to make sure that my AirPods were more completely separated from my sunscreen than just by a mesh divider. Or so I could put my camera in without worrying about it being scratched by my keys or rocks that I pick up on the beach. Or just to make sorting easier. It’s large enough to be a bit of a black hole, and a tiny bit of internal organization like an extra divider or key clip or would make a huge difference. These aren’t big deals when I am wearing Fjallraven trousers (which have amazing pockets!) and I can put my phone in my real pockets, but it’s enough of a problem that, when I don’t need a full backpack or fancier handbag, I reach for my less attractive and less comfortable mantis the vast majority of the time.

I got the large and was surprised by how much I could fit. It's perfect for a quick hike where you don't want to bring a big heavy backpack, but you still need the essentials.
