I've been wearing these pants while working in a commercial greenhouse. Perfect fit for the hot/wet/dirty environment. They shed water and soil like it's nothing. They resist tears from tools and equipment. My favorite features are all of the vent zippers. The two vents on the lower leg are particularly awesome because they let you control your body temperature so much better than just the standard two upper vents by you thigh. I've gotten plenty of compliments on the color (I went with the burnt red/orange) I'm planning on getting another pair with my next paycheck so I can wear these trousers every single day. Absolutely cannot said enough good things about them. I feel like all of the horticulture/floriculture industry would great benefit from these types of products. I would recommend you start marketing to greenhouse owners and greenhouse workers.

I had a pair of the old fit for 12 years and they stood up to everything. I lived in them as field pants. Finally time for a new pair and now there's a new fit. The waist sizing and the cut of the new fit do not align. I am 6'4", 200 lbs and a 36 (52 EU) long in the old fit. This is the waist size that fits me in the new fit. However in a 36, the rest of the cut is much too tight. But in a 38 (54 EU) long, the cut of the pants is right (though slimmer) but the waist is far too roomy. My solution was to buy the larger pair and take the waist in to fit. But that's not something everyone wants to deal with. I'm sure with enough feedback, the Keb will be corrected, but it'll take a couple runs to get it right. As the website says, sizing up will be the best bet for the cut, but you will probably find the waist too large for you. It is easy to tailor them. I did it at home with a sewing machine, but any tailor could do this quickly. It's just a pain to not have them off the shelf ready. This is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. These are a 5 star pant. They're durable, comfortable, well thought out, and they last through all kinds of abuse in the field. There's one other company making something kinda similar, but there's really nothing like these out there. I will wear this new pair for another 12 years happily, just wish the fit was right without needing alterations.

I have been buying Fjällräven products for years and I own two pairs of Keb trousers, among other items, so I am writing this as a loyal customer who genuinely values the brand. What really bothers me about this pair is the lack of mesh behind the ventilation openings. When the vents are open, the trousers look torn instead of well designed. For a brand with this level of quality and pricing, a detail like this should not be overlooked. This issue bothers me enough that I am giving these trousers 3 stars. At this price point, details matter.

Overall, I love these trousers! I’ve taken them on two backpacking trips so far. One trip in a prolonged fall storm and one in 0-20 degree snow. Pros: They are very comfortable and the vents are very useful for regulating temperature. I like how the vents are large and there is an upper and lower vent. They are stretchy where they need to be and the extra thickness on the bum and legs are nice. Great for preventing rips when I was sitting and maneuvering in ice and packed snow. The waterproofing and material are great for going through brush and being able to wipe off dirt and moisture. The boot hooks are great for preventing them riding up and the boot tightening snaps keep them snug to prevent stuff from getting up the legs. Cons: I wish both the left and right front thigh pocket had zippers instead of just the left pocket. I was a bit disappointed that a button on the thigh pocket froze together and when I pulled to separate the button the button on the pant (not the flap) ripped from the pant.

Bring back the old fit please! Or at least give the option. I was ready to buy a new pair. I tried them on then left them in the store. Disappointed. I am not a fan of this “new improved” fit..

We need a re-stock of these. I’ve been waiting for almost a year.

Nice trousers. The fit is snug. Good thing they stretch. The front pockets are functional. I like that. Would be nice to have rear pockets. Swedish men don’t carry wallets?

I bought these pants nearly 10 years ago to match with a Keb jacket. They are my go-to choice for 4-season alpine climbing and trekking. In fact, the only reason I haven't donated every other pair of technical pants I own is because I do not yet have another pair of Keb trousers to use in case I unexpectedly need to have them repaired. I have used these pants for everything from fly-fishing to high-angle snow climbing as a shell in an appropriately constructed layering system, of course. The importance of both appropriately and correctly applying wax to the G1000 panels can not be understated, so be sure to read and follow Fjallraven's instructions for how to do that. I think one of the most understated features are the hooks and cinch-straps in the ankles. I can almost get away without gaiters while trekking through knee-deep snow! I have personally found one of those butane-powered, portable soldering irons with the shrink-wrapping/heat-gun attachments is the easiest way to quickly and precisely apply wax to the fabric anywhere, except maybe on a commercial airline flight, underwater, or near a leaking natural gas pipeline.

Fantastic and comfortable, 5 star from me. I purchased my trousers a little over a year ago now and they are holding up so well. All of the out doors challenges I have put them through, and they are still like brand new. I would recommend them all day long. They are a well worth investment.

Got the camo and love it! Been using it on many camping trips and day hikes, the ventilation zips are great!

6 months old now and still my favourite go-to trousers

New Zealand Land Search & Rescue Dog Handlers wear Keb Trousers in the field operationally and have done for the last 5 years. We search in rugged New Zealand terrain and require gear as rugged as the environment we search for people in. We continue to purchase this product because it holds up. We also use the knee pads and many handlers love this feature. Our colour is UN Blue as it stands out in the bush above any other colour.

Fantastic! I just got back from a four-day backpacking trip through an area covered in poison ivy. I broke out everywhere—except my legs and crotch. These trousers completely protected me! Not a single spot of irritation where the fabric touched my skin. Worth every penny for that trip alone!

Some changes need to be made. 1) The elastic material for the crotch is a weak point. 2) New design is too narrow 3) pockets are useless. One has no gusset and the other has half a gusset that is so small its pointless. If your looking to carry a credit card they're perfect but a pair of gloves and a beanie on the other side? Nope

Excellent trousers. Comfortable and fit well. I know that they will last a good long time as well. I would just add one caveat. Even with the side vents open, if you take these guys to remotely hot areas and do anything vigorous with them, the will heat up and collect sweat at the bottom. I took them to the highlands of Ecuador where I thought I'd be plenty cool due to the altitude but in the direct sunlight and as it was a pretty vigorous trek, my legs were just drenched in sweat by the end. In contrast, I took them to Banff in the Canadian rockies and went on considerably less vigorous treks with my pregnant wife and they were 1000% more comfortable. So, would absolutely recommend to anyone with the stipulation that these are BEST FOR COOL OR EVEN COLD WEATHER ON MILD TO MODERATELY VIGOROUS TREKS. Otherwise, the strength and durability are overkill and a pair of light shorts would be better.
