About This Item
Award-winning, trekking trousers in stretch fabric and G-1000. Now updated for even better performance, comfort and durability. Produced without PFCs, made for a lifetime of use.
Fit & Design:
Technically advanced trekking trousers with engineered fit
Stretch fabric and G-1000 for freedom of movement, durability and protection
Side zippers release excess heat, and double zipper sliders mean they can be opened in both directions
Extra ventilation zippers along the calves
Two hand pockets plus two leg pockets with buttoned flaps, one with an interior mesh pocket
Knees have openings for knee pads (an accessory)
Leg endings with buttoned strap adjustment, designed so that the strap can easily be removed
Nice trousers. The fit is snug. Good thing they stretch. The front pockets are functional. I like that. Would be nice to have rear pockets. Swedish men don’t carry wallets?

Probably The Best Pants I Have Ever Bought.
I bought these pants nearly 10 years ago to match with a Keb jacket. They are my go-to choice for 4-season alpine climbing and trekking. In fact, the only reason I haven't donated every other pair of technical pants I own is because I do not yet have another pair of Keb trousers to use in case I unexpectedly need to have them repaired. I have used these pants for everything from fly-fishing to high-angle snow climbing as a shell in an appropriately constructed layering system, of course. The importance of both appropriately and correctly applying wax to the G1000 panels can not be understated, so be sure to read and follow Fjallraven's instructions for how to do that. I think one of the most understated features are the hooks and cinch-straps in the ankles. I can almost get away without gaiters while trekking through knee-deep snow! I have personally found one of those butane-powered, portable soldering irons with the shrink-wrapping/heat-gun attachments is the easiest way to quickly and precisely apply wax to the fabric anywhere, except maybe on a commercial airline flight, underwater, or near a leaking natural gas pipeline.

Very Robust !!
Fantastic and comfortable, 5 star from me. I purchased my trousers a little over a year ago now and they are holding up so well. All of the out doors challenges I have put them through, and they are still like brand new. I would recommend them all day long. They are a well worth investment.
