This hat is amazing! It is absolute perfect for sunny and windy weather. I have been a bit rough with it and have flattened it several times for transporting and it always returns to its original shape without issue. It has held up well to getting whacked with twigs and branches when I don't duck quite enough and hasn't faded at all despite have spent a lot of time in direct sunlight.

Needs ventilation grommets, otherwise it gets rather hot. I had my Abisko summer hat for a few years and rarely wore it due to it not breathing and making my head hot. Added 4 vent grommets and it made a huge difference. Now I'm loving the hat. Shocked they haven't updated the design with ventilation after years.

I'm always searching for a lightweight cloth hat that has a stiffer brim the typical cloth boonie hats. This hat fulfills that need. Notes: 1. Buy slightly loose because it will shrink slightly after 1 wash in warn water and normal machine dry. 2. This hat is hot on a summer day-no ventilation in the crown and you'll notice it.

I bought this hat in M initially and had to upgrade to L. But the Blue I have in L is great. I wear it on almost every hike I take. Helps keep sun off and rain off my glasses, is not floppy and has held up beautifully. I think I need one in Buckwheat now...

Just got back from vacation on Caribbean, hat is lightweight and perfect for hiking in brutal heat for head/neck protection. I wore in the ocean while snorkling and it protected there and dried out quickly. Highly recommend

Used in Yellowstone for 10 days and was very happy with my purchase. It rained, hailed 7 times and sunny hot days as well perfect hat for all weather.

It's a nice hat. Looks very good, but I think the material of choice on the top isn't that best. It's rather thick, which makes it not very breathable and it gets very hot in it. Could barely wear it on a hot day hiking as I was overheating. Wish it was lighter material

I really like everything about the Abisko Summer Hat. I used the fit guide and it was spot on, fits perfect. The hat is comfortable and keeps its shape. The material is light weight and very breathable. Going to the beach, working around the yard, or watching the kids games on a sunny day, has been great for all activities. Would highly recommend.

This is the second Abisko hat I've purchased. One for me and one for my son. I love the size of it, not too big but not too small. The brim is extremely solid and won't fly up in strong winds is what I really love about it. The strap helps a lot too in windy conditions. It's pretty rain proof and looks great.

Ok hat, but the rain soaks right in after about 2 minutes. I wouldn't call it water-resistant or fast-drying.

It's entirely possible that my head is bigger than I think but my hat was really small (ordered a medium). I have ordered similar size based on 'size guide' and gotten it right but this was small by comparison. I would advise ordering a size up. Hard to rate quality, durability or performance; I returned mine. So, based on how it looked I will assume all those things are good.

I bought this hat for my hiking enthusiast husband for Christmas, and he could not be happier. It fits his giant melon perfectly, and he cannot wait to get out there in the woods and trails and have it on his head.

Most hats are too big on me and hit my glasses. I ordered a Small and it fit perfectly, stayed on during a very windy day at the beach, and I didn’t get sunburned. Win!

Junk. Every seam is crooked, the snaps are half an inch off from eachother, the logo is crooked, the cord is sewn in crooked, and the size is mislabeled...it is absolute garbage.
