I bought this hat close to a year ago and it surpassed my expectations in most areas. It has seen everything thrown at it from torrential downpours to blowing off my head into the Nowitna river and having to be saved before it sunk. It DIRELY needs some sort of chin strap or whatever you call it because with the larger brim the wind catches it easily and will whip it right off your head and without fail will land in the most inconvenient spot(mud, river or whatever terrain traps are present). All in all its a great hat, it will keep you warm even when sopping wet and looks good doing it. Needs a chin strap for 5 stars though...
