Extremely Comfortable

Let’s get this out of the way first: this is eye-wateringly expensive and completely unnecessary. Having said that, if you’ve got the cash to burn and want to be nearly as comfortable in the field as you are at home, this is hard to beat. As a bonus, it eliminated floor condensation on my rooftop tent in the morning, reducing my teardown time and mold considerations. I’m going to buy a pump for it, though, because even when you let the self-inflation do its thing, pumping the rest of the way is a pain, especially suspended off the ground and bent over. I had the cash to burn and wanted extreme comfort and warmth. This fit the bill and I have no regrets. I’m just at a point in life where I want the best, and if I cannot afford the best, I’ll either wait until I can or just not buy at all. This is the best thing out there, period.

Buy Once, Cry Once Or Twice

I bought extra long size by accident and was planning on returning it but my parents tried it loved it. I eventually got the medium and it is the best air mat you can buy. I can't wait to use it when I go camping.

Innovation At Its Best!

It's almost wrong to call this an air mattress. It takes minimal air for maximum comfort. Now, it is a firm mattress, so if you're like my wife and like soft... this ain't for you. That being said, my wife and I both slept on it with no issues for 2 consecutive nights. No additional air was needed for the second night. If you can swing the price tag, I would fill your tent with 2 or 3 of these excellent camping necessities.

Woke Up Thought I Was Home In Bed !!

Exped Duo - Went on a trip to Canada for 3 weeks - slept soundly on this wonderful pad - just unroll and let it set while you fix dinner etc and then pump for one minute and wow you have a nice comfortable nights sleep ahead of you . Worth every penny !!

Best Camping Purchase Of All Time!!

I have hip joint issues and thr major barrier to camping for me is being able to get a good night's sleep. I was so sick of buying a crappy air mattress, using it twice and inevitably throwing it out. Sick of a deflating bed that puts you on the cold ground. No more. I have a purple mattress at home and the exped duo is nearly as comfortable. Plenty of room for me and my partner on the large wide. Keeps you very warm, almost no motion transfer. Inflates easily by itself (it will take longer if you store it rolled up). The pump that is included with it tops it off quickly and easier- love not needing to lug a battery powered pump. Easy to break down - I am terrible at getting sleeping bags into stuff sacks, but this goes in the bag easily even if I don't do a super great job of rolling it up. Probably only good for car camping- it's very light, but does take up a lot of space. Don't hesitate, just buy. If you're feeling snuggly, get the Teton evergreen mammoth sleeping bag to go with it.
