Good cheap spud bar important to have for safety does the job but Eskimo does sell a better version of this for 15$ more if I knew about it before I would have bought that one

Solid Spud Bar

Great ice fishing spud bar. Add a piece of rope to the ring to loop around your wrist .. created myself an opportunity to buy another one when I didn’t 😆

It's Light

I bought it at the beginning on the season and used it all ready. Found out I'm not comfortable hitting the ice twice and breaking though. It did it's job and did I mention it's weighs nothing.

Great Quality Heavy Duty Spud Bar

Necessary tool for any safe ice fishing trip. Meets my expectations and really like hoop at end to insert thumb or connect a strap, so you don't lose pole.

Don’t Buy Spud Is To Light And Really Struggle To Punch A Hole!

I do not recommend buying this spud just to light and really have to work at punching a hole!

Good Basic Chisel

I bought this with a Dick's 40% off one item promotion (making it $15) and picked it up in store. The form, function, and finish are perfect. This is an essential item for early ice fishing and late ice fishing. Easily check the thickness/safety of the ice with a couple solid strikes. I don't spud my holes, but I'm sure you could make fairly quick work out of ice less than 6" thick.

nice basic ice chisel. I added a strap and dipped it in rubber it was $20 cheaper if I did it.
