The item was larger than expected. It is designed to be used specifically for camping and not as a key ring.

Great biners overall. They are a little on the small side but I don’t mind that at all. I use them for trad anchors with sewn runners so it’s a perfect weight to haul up for that purpose. I usually prefer round barrel biners for rappelling and belaying, but for a built anchor the contour is fine. The screw gate is also smooth as butter with a nice, textured screw. And I love me some DMM so I really can’t say a bad thing about them. Designed, manufactured, and tested in Wales. I bet my life on DMM.
