I use an Injinji sock and lightweight Darn Tough sock for summer and dry-weather shoulder-season hiking. I bought two pairs of the full-cushion socks for winter outdoor activities, and I love them. They not only keep my feet comfy in winter boots, but they've pretty much taken the place of my slippers for around the house.

I never thought I would become a Sock Nerd, but here I am, wallowing in the Kool Aid. I bought my first pair of Darn Tough socks about seven years ago and they are still one of my favorites as I can no longer find the pattern. Since then, I have bought about 30 pairs consisting of the boot full cushion socks, crew, quarter, and no-show varieties. I bought a pair for my husband (a rural postal carrier) and he is now a Darn Tough Sock Nerd owning 10 pairs himself. He has given several pairs to co-workers for the holidays over the years, converting them to Sock Nerds. We’ve given Darn Tough socks to both our adult children and their significant others, continuing to grow the Sock Nerd Community! Expensive, yes, but the quality and value cannot be matched. These socks never wear out. You cannot go wrong with Darn Tough!

I bought my first pair of Darn Tough socks about 5 years ago, and have slowly added to my Darn Tough sock collection. They’re the only socks I wear in the winter, because they keep my feet so warm. Not only do they keep my feet warm, the cushioning makes them super comfortable. I’ve never had to use the lifetime warranty that comes with them, because they are so well made. Highly recommend these socks, they are pricey but you get what you pay for and I also like the fact they are made in the USA.

I have tried many other wool sock brands that claim to last forever but every time 'forever' comes too soon. Not with Darn Tough. They are comfortable, do not move over the course of hiking all day and seemingly do last forever!

My husband and I work on a ranch in Texas where it can get pretty cold, with humidity. We’ve tried other wool blend socks but our feet sweat and get cold. The darn tough brand of socks have literally been life changing. Our feet may sweat, but they don’t get cold. And the extra cushion is so nice!

Everyone in the family loves these. Great for the trail, home, and office. Warm in the winter and comfortable in the summer. Soft but still protective and supportive.

I love how these socks fit! They’re snug and thick and give the perfect amount of cushion. Wore them today on a seven mile hike and my feet were happy!
More work than play
I love darn tough socks but this is my first pair with ‘full cushion’ I wear them in steel toed work boots and I love the extra cushioning. Might be a little toasty in the summer but we will see..

Love, Love, Love them that's all I can say. I used to only perchase Smart Wool socks but from now on I will only be purchasing the Darn Tuff socks. Plus a life time guarantee, you can go wrong.
