Good Boot

This is my third pair. Love them for weight, breathable, comfort and ability to be shined easily. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the soles. They are a soft rubber and if you are as hard on your boots as I am you'll need new ones each year. The soles wear out before anything else. I'd still recommend.

Best Light Weight Law Enforcement Boots

Always been a fan of Danners and I usually wear the acadias for shift, but wanted something more light weight for the summers. These Tachyons GTX are perfect! They are lightweight and water repellent for the spring showers. I got a nice shine on them too, so they look professional!

Overall Great Boots

Best lightweight boots I’ve found. Comfortable for 10+ hours a day. Good in all seasons. If you’re looking for a comfortable, lightweight, waterproof boot; look no further. Only complaint I have is durability. Upper “leather” portion of shoe wears out after about a year or less.

Fits Great, Not Much Support

They are like shoes with an paper thin 8in high calf sleeve. kinda weird as they are supposed to be tactical boots but I still like the comfort and look. I go through a lot of boots as a delivery driver and these seem like a good fit for the job
