Warm, light, and not as boxy as some comments make it out to be! I’m 5”3, 120lbs, and still have some room for a thin sweater underneath if I really needed it, which is the only reason I rated runs large — if it just ever so slightly got some more room than I’m used to for a small, but it truly fits like a glove if you were just to wear a long sleeve and zip it up. Has plenty of pocket room inside both sides of the jacket. On top of it, the color scheme is absolutely beautiful — I wear a lot of earth tone colors & this just goes perfectly with my wardrobe and will be keeping me oh so cozy during the chilly Monterey Bay winters ahead. Don’t hesitate like I did, just purchase your usual go to size, it’ll look phenomenal :)

Fits well; very comfortable but it’s summer so I can’t comment on warmth

I had an older Fuego that was fitting a little snug after some welcome weight gain- I was happy to see that the upgrade was on sale so I had to snag it! It being June, I haven't tested it out yet but I'm excited to rep my new Fuego jacket this winter! For reference- 5'6", long and lanky, 140 lbs purchased a size medium.

Couldn’t be happier with the warmth and fit. 5’5” 135 and ordered a medium for layering.

This is my fourth product from Cotopaxi. I was so excited to order this jacket, and it’s exactly what I expected. The color tones are super cool, and it's just as lightweight as I wanted. There are plenty of pockets, and the zippers feel strong and durable. I'm so happy to have this ready for the upcoming winter

Won’t wear this til the weather cools a bit more up here in Alaska, but this is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered a medium and it fits great plus has plenty of space for layers without being tight on my hips (still covered some of my butt which I love on cold days) I’m 5’3” and 145lbs and the medium is the perfect fit

The jackets is very warm but doesn't pack very small and runs large.

I purchased this jacket in the Sienna/Fjord color way and absolutely love it. The colors are so pretty!!! This jacket also fits great. I tend to fall between a small-medium, and based on other reviews I opted for a size small in this jacket. I'm glad I did! It fits well with a bit of room for other layers. The hood is a nice bonus. I do not have a regular Fuego Down jacket to compare this too, but when ordering I was worried the Max would be a bit too puffy and I wouldn't like it, but I've been pleasantly surprised. It isn't very bulky and is very lightweight. I got it on sale in the summer, but I can't wait to wear it once the weather cools off in the fall!

Lightweight but warm. Great for camping, hiking at higher altitudes and even travel.

The material in the Fuego Max Down Hooded Jacket is incredibly soft yet it seems quite durable and suitable for most winter activities. As with most down jackets, a shell jacket would be advisable if you plan on bushwacking off the trails. The jacket is amply stuffed with premium down to make it more than adequate for winter wear in Maine where I live. The hood is nicely shaped to fit snugly around your head when the jacket is zipped up. The jacket also has multiple pockets to stow your items, including a zipped exterior chest pocket for your phone. Love the colors too. Two thumbs up for this jacket.

This is a beautiful jacket. I love the color, it’s super warm, lots of pockets and the fit is great! BUT, on the first day I already had several feathers coming out of the jacket. It has been a week and it hasn’t stopped… I’m very sad 😔 because it’s such a pretty jacket but I don’t think it will last me very long.

I got this jacket just in time for cold Spring weather in the Rockies! It has kept me warm and cozy with its puffy loft! Lastly, great colors that match by Cotopaxi baby blue puffy pants!

I've had the original Fuego Hoody the past several years. It's one of my favorites. I'm so glad there is a warmer version of the Fuego that I can wear when it gets even colder.

The material, comfort, and fit are all 10/10. I get lots of compliments based on the colors and how it looks. I sized up so I could wear several layers under it and not feel squished. If I were planning to just wear a shirt and sweater under it I would say it runs true to size.

The size is little bit large, but almost true to size.
